The philosophy of Simera-C is being modest for storytelling, rendering almost a raw and naturalistic look, by not imposing any strong character to guarantee authentic reproduction. After repeated simulations and experiments, "flare" as a major character of the lens has been controlled in a subtle way, to shape the highlight without disturbing the image.
The new Simera-C 21mm T1.5 maintains the consistency with the series, offering a more dramatic ultra-wide-angle perspective, being the widest in the set. This lens excels capturing the close up with smooth transition of background separation.
Close Focus and Stunning Optical Performance
With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.23 meters, the 21mm is the closest focusing lens in the Simera-C series, enabling users to capture intricate details with clarity.
Featuring 2 aspherical elements, 3 low-dispersion elements, and 3 high-refractive-index elements, the Simera-C 21mm effectively minimizes common issues like flare and chromatic aberration while ensuring excellent resolution from center to edge, without being overly sharp, but rendering good skin texture at portrait distance.
Compact and Versatile Design
Measuring just 78.6mm in length and weighing 491g, the Simera-C 21mm pairs seamlessly with setups like the DJI Ronin 4D, allowing flexible use in aerial shots, action scenes, car shooting and confined corners.
Seamless Integration with the Simera-C Lineup
The Simera-C 21mm lens shares the same technical key feature of its predecessors—the Simera-C 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 75mm.

- 16 aperture blades for smooth and rounded bokeh.
- 210° focus control throw.
- 67mm front diameter (excluding 75mm T1.5 of 72mm), and M62*0.75 filter size (excluding 75mm of M67*0.75).
