Received the original for Father's day a few years back after seeing it at the Samsung store. Love the portability of it. Moved into a new home shortly after and while we waited for the delivery of our furniture and TVs, and internet, the Freestyle was clutch during Wimbledon. Hooked it up to my mobile Hotspot and we didn't miss a beat. Casted the image to the largest wall in the house and was blown away by its picture clarity and sound in our empty space. I use it everywhere now. Outside on the deck with a pull down projector screen, interior garage wall, bedroom ceiling, etc. This thing doesn't quit. Minor hiccups include focus and automatically scaling, but enough manual options to get you back on track.

What would we have done without it?!

Love the way I can put this anywhere to play movies or games depending on how good the weather is ect. And if the kids are around it is great to put outside

We use the "The Frame" to display art from multiple time periods as well as stream video content from a variety of source's.

It is a center piece of our library and get many compliments for the display and built in speaker.

The picture is crystal clear and has a great volum

This has been such a great projector that we've used in every room of our home! For the best view without a projector screen (we've used this on white walls), make sure the window curtains are closed and the lights are low. We've owned this for a while now when it first came out and we're still happy with our purchase. We've had to call customer service for an update issue in the first year, but Samsung resolved it with ease. Oh and you can also connect game consoles, your PC, and your phone to this projector! It's proven to be really useful for our everyday need. We highly recommend!

I actually hate this purchase. Not enough free options for the art which is absurd after the high price you pay for the tv. Then no matter how many times I change settings the tv turns itself off while I'm watching it every single use that is more than 1/2 hour. It's extremely frustrating.

A little bit higher than I wanted to pay and price

No optical port,no Dolby Atmos picture is sharp and Samsung channel section is good. For the money and picture it's a good buy.

Love the size of this unit. Have placed on a floating shelf and move from bedroom to living on the fly.  It self aligns focuses with no issue.   Sound is good for something so small. 

On a smooth wall and dark room. I was able to get up to 150" screen and still looks great.   

Easy to get all the apps working from other Samsung TV.  Took a short time to get smart things going and all the apps log into and running.

My Samsung Q80C is a multi-use product in my household.  In the early mornings, my mother watches the news, weather and a few of her favorite shows.  As a senior citizen, her hearing & eyesight has been slowly dwindling, so the color, sharpness, zoom-in features and amplified stereo sound helps her a great deal while watching the T.V.

Q80C QLED 4K TV (2023)

My wife and I wanted a clear picture on our tv, as well as a reliable tv. After 3 years we still love this Samsung TV. So we bought our 2 sons  a Samsung TV as well.

Best TV ever

The Freestyle Projector is one of the best products I've added to my samsung home ecosystem. The picture clarity and colors even on a well lit room are decent enough to keep you watching your favorite show. Of course that on a dark room the colors and image look live! It's like having your own cinema at home! 

I've used this product on birthday parties to project movies for the kids outdoors and link it to my samsung outdoor speakers. 

I've made just about every wall in my house a gaming wall when the wife wants to watch her shows in our big screen I take plug the projector in my garage and hide away playing my video games. 

Overall performance is outstanding. And the picture quality is awesome for such a small product. You will be amazed!

I didn't want a big TV cuz I might be moving this puts out the same quality as a 1080p TV You just need a white background I have not tried a black background but it depends on the paint you have on the wall

Very unsatisfactory. Tv drops HDMI cable signal repeatedly.  Totally unacceptable .
My other TVs  LG and Sony are far better and do not experience the signal drops.

I would not recommend this particular model.

Samsung Frame Tv

If you are aware of any samsung smart TV, This is like a pocket sized 100" portable version of it. It has tons of smart features plus ambient options like using it as a light or function based themes in built and you can have it display your own custom stuff as well. I carry it around and use beam the dex mode straight to a wall to watch anime library straight from my phone. it adds functionality to the mobile phones equipped with the dex functionality, if you use one. I have a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard which works great! Wired is more responsive than wireless just for the record. On wireless dex the mouse lags a lot! 

Overall I personally Love this product. I think if it was 4k the price back then would have made sense. 
It loses the 1 star when it comes to being weak while it's placed in a bright area... I personally think $800 is a bit too overpriced for this item but, it's definitely more futuristic than having a TV (again, if you only watch shows at night).

58" Samsung TV

We bought this tv 3/26/2024 and today (6/15/2025) it completely just died out of nowhere. We don't even use the tv daily. As usual, absolute garbage from Samsung.

I use this tv to watch movies mainly and the visuals are stunning.  I use to have an older Sony tv that was 4k and the difference is still insane. I dont know if it's the screen size or the screen technology but the movies like beautiful. Awesome tv ??.

Q series is the biggest regret. Never buy one of these. I had nothing but problems. Customer service wore me out so much where I didn't want to call back. By the time I got over it and called back, my warranty was over. So much money on such an expensive tv that turns itself back on after you shut it off and the remote control is no good. After 1yr you are on your own with these TVs that cost you thousands of dollars. I hear the same complaints about their kitchen appliances and washers/dryers. Samsung has earned a reputation to just stay away and avoid. So far I'm having far better luck with LG.

Maybe someone can help me but I've only used this a handful of times and it was awesome. Last time I used it was probably over a year ago and I just recently tried to use it and nothing will work. It won't do anything. Even from the power button on the device itself, can anyone help.

Hardly used

Was bought the 50in CU model as a housewarming gift in Aug 2023. I don't have loads of streaming services or cable so really this TV is a YouTube + video game console display machine for my purposes. It likes to update a lot and has frequent popups with the TOS / privacy agreement. Maybe it's a setting somewhere but the TV itself does not fully power off when you hit the button once, it goes into a sleep-like state. Doesn't bother me too much since it's always ready to go, just an observation. Within the past few months though, the bottom left corner of the screen has begun to flash randomly. Sometimes it's subtle, but other times it's truly really annoying. I can't seem to find anything on what this could be or if I can do something about it... I feel like about 2 years is a bit soon for the display to start going out like this? My parents have a much older Samsung smart TV that they have had no display issues with over probably the last 10 years (just the OS slowing down which is to be somewhat expected IMO). Not sure if I have to replace it, I really don't want to since I would consider this a young product and it feels wasteful to have it start failing so soon. Other reviews seem to have problems with this model, so purchase with caution if you really want it.
