The neck was great but for the nut. The nut was cut completely incorrectly. The string spacing was off and the nut was too big for the nut slot. I had to replace the nut, which on a new neck is unacceptable.

Five stars for the price that Adorama had this neck at, but at full price I'd be inclined to give it four or three and a half: the fretboard was extremely dry but the frets were pretty well polished and they seem dressed ok with no real fret sprout. There may be some better finished necks for just a bit more from small shops that prep aftermarket necks, but I wanted a neck pre-drilled for Fender tuners and the Deluxe neck screw pattern. Plus I wanted the Fender sticker on the headstock in case I sell this guitar in the future. Ordering pau ferro fretboards sight unseen is a gamble; grain and color will vary quite a bit. The one I got wouldn't have been my first choice but it's acceptable. Also worth noting is that the nut requires work before you string up your guitar.

Neck was ok but the nut was double filed and needed to be replaced which is strange because it was brand new. Seems like a b or c product that didn't make the cut.
