This product was shipped and received very quickly. The actual GB shown in the Disk Management application is 931.50 vs. the 1,000GB marketed, but I think that's typical with any storage device so I'm not going to knock it for this. Either way, it's definitely an upgrade from my original 250GB SSD that came with my ThinkPad P15 [20SUS07U00]

Fast, reliable, and durable, the WD Black NVMe drives in the SN750 series are within a percent or two of the fastest sequential speeds available while offering a longer MTBF rating and being less expensive than other "premium quality" alternatives (like Samsung). Couple that with the fact that they're among the fastest IOPs of any PCIe 3.0×4 drive and can be had with an integrated heat spreader (in case your MoBo doesn't have one) and these make great choices for an NVMe boot drive.

Painless install. Does not come with a retaining screw, but my Dell laptop didn't have a retaining bracket as it shipped with a 2.5" HDD. A small piece of electrical tape and it works just fine. Laptop is now faster, quieter, and with longer battery life. What's not to love? To answer a question posted about the product; yes, it will work in a laptop, assuming you have a NVMe M.2 socket and room for an 80mm long card. It will not fit into a SATA M.2 socket. Check to see if there's a retaining bracket/screw inside your laptop and if so, check to see that it's in the right spot for this size card. Hint: a 2280 form factor means it's 22mm wide and 80mm long. If you have the right socket, but no retaining bracket, see my solution above. Only been using the drive for a couple weeks, so can't attest first hand to its longevity, but with a 5-year warranty, that isn't a concern -- Just back up your data from time to time and you'll be fine!

Love this NVME/SSD. Over 3400MB/s on Crystal Disk.

Excellent, fast drive. The SN750 has a black PCB so if the drive is visible it should match your build aesthetic if that’s important to you. Speeds are as advertised and I’m very satisfied with the SSD. Side note, this drive doesn’t come with a screw nor do most M.2 drives so check your motherboard box for it.

This is a great drive, very happy with the speed and also how uncluttered builds can be with M2 drives. Fewer SATA cables, it lies flush on the motherboard. Better airflow. Just remember GPT not MBR! If you are upgrading, make sure before you clone your old OS drive convert it to GPT, then clone it over to the NVME. That gave me a little headache, but no fault of the drive itself. There are a variety of programs that can convert while keeping your data intact.

The WD BLACK SN750 NVMe SSD delivers top-tier performance for gaming and hardware enthusiasts who are looking to build or upgrade their PC. Available in capacities up to 2TB, the WD Black SN750 NVMe SSD rivals some of the best performing drives on the market to help give gamers that competitive edge.
Exclusive WD BLACK SSD dashboard with gaming mode to improve performance
Sleek design to customize and intensify your gaming system
Helps maintain optimal levels of performance with passive cooling features
Performance Matters
Live life in the fast lane, whether you're looking to boost your system's overall responsiveness or load games and levels quickly, the WD BLACK drive cuts down on your wait time to get back into action and gets you ahead of the game.
Space to Play
At the core of the WD BLACK drive is its revolutionary NAND technology. By doubling the storage density from its previous generation, our 64-layer 3D NAND pushes the limitations of storage and showcases the amazing feat of NAND innovation. This means extended capacity on a single-sided drive that's roughly the size of a gumstick, enough to store your large files and video games.
Sleek heatsink design
Every system is not created equal. From different graphics cards and CPUs to DRAM and storage, PCs all differ in performance and appearance. The WD BLACK SSD's sleek and modern heatsink model goes well with desktop PC builds that support the M.2 form factor and is the perfect component to complement systems with RGB lighting and other cooling technologies, such as water cooling. SN750 is available with or without heatsink. SN750 with heatsink is intended for Desktop PCs.
WD BLACK SSD Dashboard
The WD BLACK SSD Dashboard gives you the ability to optimize performance by enabling the gaming mode feature. This disables the low power mode function on the SSD, which keeps your drive firing on all cylinders during intense gaming sessions.
