Good Monitor so far, Different from Odyssey G9
Good monitor. However, I'm used to the Odyssey G9 Neo and I've noticed that there is less curve to it which makes it a bit different to look at. Still early days, maybe I'll get used to it. I'm on OSX and the Odyssey G9 Neo flicker issue persists, so I'm trying out the Dell 49" and so far, no flicker, so I'm happy.

Seeing several documents on the screen the same has made easier and faster to complete my work.
The Dell UltraSharp 49 Curved has made it very easy to review several documents at the same time.

Great productivity enhancer
Bought monitor for my wife who teaches college on-line. This monitor is great for her grading, since she can have three documents/references in easy view while grading. This is a great help. Have not installed the Dell software yet. Works fine using HDMI from a Dell Vostro 7510 laptop

Excellent with Windows 11
Excellent monitor for work, study and some light gaming. Not a monitor for dedicated gamers, there are better monitors for that activity. The monitor works very well with Windows 11 as that OS has built in screen options to cleaning and quickly divide up the huge screen for multiple apps/programs. The monitor was very well packaged and the set up was simple - just take your time, follow the easy directions - for some folks, a two person carry is highly recommended. Price is a bit steep, so not for everyone's budget. I am very happy with this product.

awesome for puzzles
very pleased with this as i do lots of jigsaw puzzles and this gives me a better view of the pieces. it allows me to have several screens open at the same time.

Productivity Booster for Home Office
This is, in my opinion, the best monitor for productivity. The IPS display is excellent for text clarity, and color uniformity across 100% of the screen. Customer service is excellent. I found an issue with the panel and they immediately shipped me a replacement so I was able to keep using the original until it arrived. Return shipping and pickup was handled by customer service very well. I can fully recommend Dell and this monitor.

Great monitor
This is a FANTASTIC monitor! Really sharp crisp images. I am able to have three browsers up at a time and each as big as they would be if they were on their own screen. Only way to make this better is to have two!

Great monitor for multi-application users, impressive, use a quality cable when setting up.
I recently upgraded to the Dell UltraSharp 49" Curved Monitor U4919DW from three older 24" monitors, and it has completely transformed my workspace. The horizontal space is perfect for my multitasking needs, and it's a huge relief to have everything consolidated into one monitor.
I did encounter some issues with setup, as I initially experienced flickering when using the supplied DP cable as well as with another 16K DP cable I had on hand. However, once I invested in the high-quality Silkland DisplayPort 2.1 Cable, the issue was resolved, and the monitor worked perfectly. This sensitivity with DP cables is something to keep in mind, but once you have a reliable one, the monitor works like a dream. I will say the monitor work well with the supplied HDMI cable and no had issues.
Despite the age of the monitors technology (it's really a 2019 technology), I am extremely pleased with the performance of this monitor. It does everything I need it to do and more, and it has been a game-changer for my productivity. The continuous screen is slick, and it has definitely helped clean up my desk area. Plus, with USB ports located in convenient locations, I never have to fumble around to plug something in.
If I had one wish, it would be for a 2023 version of this monitor with faster refresh, but until then, I am happy to continue using the Dell UltraSharp 49" Curved Monitor U4919DW. Setting it up alone can be a bit of a challenge, but following the included directions will get you through it. It's not too heavy, but it can be a little ungainly to hold.
I'm happy to add that while the refresh rate of the U4919DW is only 60hz, it works perfectly for my more static use applications. I don't play games, but from what I understand, while it would be suitable for gaming, there are better choices out there with higher refresh rates that provide even smoother gameplay. However, for my work and everyday use, the refresh rate is more than sufficient.
Positives:
? Provides a large horizontal space perfect for multitasking.
? Consolidates multiple monitors into one, saving desk space.
? High-quality continuous screen with no bezel interruption.
? Good selection of ports, including conveniently located USB ports.
? Sleek and practical design with a "wow" factor.
? Suitable for non-gaming uses with a refresh rate of 60htz.
? Good resolution at 5120 x 1440 @ 60 htz.
Negatives:
? Can be awkward to set up alone.
? DP cable sensitivity may cause flickering issues with some cables.
? Refresh rate of 60hz may not be sufficient for high end gamers looking for a super smooth experience.
? The technology is a few years old and there isn't a 2023 version available yet.
Overall, I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a sleek, practical solution to their multitasking needs. The "wow" factor doesn't hurt, either!

The display has change how I work, and I'm not able to be efficient while also being fast. No glitches, kvm rocks, and lots of usbs! Don't need to buy a display manager like they say online. The dell manager has enough features, and very easy to use!

Great monitor for serious work.
The wide screen is excellent for working with multiple windows. It's like having two large monitors but without the separation / border between them. Installation was breeze, didn't have to download any additional drivers or mess with any funky configuration gyrations. Clarity and resolution are awesome.

really nice monitor. Purchase monitor stand/arm if you want to hang it on your desk. It does need a sturdy arm to hold the weight of this beauty. This monitor is the type of thing that once you purchase, you will never go back. Nice and clear and easy to read, and it is still large enough to easily work on large spreadsheets. Highly recommended for anyone working on spreadsheets or large projects

Ultrawide should be for all software developers
Not as wide or as tall as I imagined but has greatly improved my productivity. There appears to be intermittent flickering problem when I paired it with the Dell docking station, connecting it directly to my laptop seems to have resolved the flickering problem.

Amazing Productivity Monitor.
Perfect productivity monitor. Did exactly everything I expected and more. I connected 2 input sources (laptops) and both are working perfectly. Just a little note for people who want to connect their office laptops, make sure you have administrative rights to load software on your company's device, otherwise you will not be able to download the Dell Display Manager and take full advantage of all the amazing features of this monitor.

Dell UltraSharp 49 Curved Monitor-U4919DW
This monitor was provided at the office and I liked it enough to buy it when I upgraded my home computer. It has more capability then I realized with all the different connections and built in KVM ( with special USB cables ). My work requires many windows stretched wide. I really like this monitor and may add a second .
