Has performed flawlessly over the years. I especially like the ability to handle a vast range of paper sizes. A slight drawback is that if not under constant use, the ink dries up and clogs the heads; but that is easily corrected with cleaner solution.

Very fast good quality printing. Some "standard" tasks require a secondary app, but once you have that every thing works well. Good duplex printing Can also handle legal sized documents

First I should say I'm a bit basis to Brother since I have a few brother projects in my house hold and they have never let me down. That being said as a Graphic Designer, having a high quality printer in my home for personal projects is an absolute must! I have had this printer for about to 2 years now, and have used it for everyday printing as well as printed posters/ paper crafting. The print quality for the cost of the printer and ink is a no brainer. The driver has a good accuracy when printing from Adobe programs like Illustrator and Photoshop and I have used it to make 3D wall hangings and simple photos; no issues. The features and abilities of this printer make it a great addition for offices of all kinds. The scanner is also a highly under rated feature, I have used it countless times for business but also for scanning flat objects that I need the exact size in illustrator for text layouts and packaging. I have even used the Fax once or twice which is something I never would have thought I'd need. If you are to take any thing from this review take the fact that this is an All in One printer, if you are look to print the highest quality photos or full size movie posters this isn't for you (try another Brother but if you are looking for something that can it in all and done it well...look no further, this Printer has been running like new without fail for 2 years and it an absolutely great printer for any professional or personal office!

I have been able to count on it printing from my phone on a regular basis and it?s quick. Printing used to take forever in my old one but now 123 it?s done. Print is a little light but probably because I haven?t had time to look into adjusting. Also haven?t had time for all the features yet but I am sure they will be great when I get to them.

The durability of Brother off machines is fantastic. I have purchased several over the years in my different capacities, as president of recreation boards, as well as home. Each performed for many years. None has ever failed. This one is an upgrade for home use. My only recommendation is that owners should clean the print heads periodically. .

The only downside of this printer is that it is ginormous so make sure you have the space to set it up. Once set up though, it is a fast, beautiful color laser jet printer that can handle up to 11x17 paper at a super reasonable price. We had an issue with the printer ink sensor on ours and one live chat with support later and a replacement was on the way. Such a great support experience!

The printer is fine, actually it is awesome but its a total disgrace that I can't connect to my pc via USB cable. My PC has no wifi card and basically I need to send an email to get something printed. If only the USB connection would work it would be a 5 stars.

Love the printer! This is the 2nd one purchased for my home office. My only concern is the scan feature. But I have definitely found some workarounds for it. It just doesn't automatically pick up on ALL the computes for scanning. Other than that...great piece of equipment. And super fast for my print projects!

Live in KItsap County, Washington and purchased the mfc j6530dw and when we neeed more ink there was NONE in the entire county!!! Tried to order online and no one carried it other than Brother with a 10 day delivery! MISERABLE PRODUCT

Our all-in-one printer died and we use Brother Black & White printers at work. We needed a printer that would last and be reliable. We most definitely found that in this printer.

I didn't realize from the pictures how massive this printer is. It's huge! Print quality is about the same or worse than my previous Brother printer. Overall, I don't see much improvement from the 'upgrade'.

You asked ME so I'm telling you the TRUTH! I truly wish that I had NEVER purchased this printer!!! My older Brother worked PERFECTLY for years! The ONLY reason that I upgraded was that it was a blk & wht & I needed a color printer. This printer GUZZLES INK like a 1960 Buick guzzles gas!!! What's WORSE is Brother conveniently makes the newer printers to where they will NOT work with even GOOD QUALITY generic print cartridges - FORCEING you to buy their GROSSLY OVERPRICED 'BRAND' cartridges!!! I CAN'T AFFORD to use this except for absolute 'have to' cases! FORGET the days of just enjoying the perks of owning a printer! Brother fixed that for us!!! Not only this - The older one worked smoothly with a variety of different brand computers, phones, etc... It never gave us any problems with wireless connections etc.. This one is finicky & doesn't 'play well' with others! Unfortunately, unless you run a small business from your home, the average household won't use this enough to learn all of this until it is TOO LATE to return the item! (believe me - I TRIED! I'm sure you don't care but Brother you have lost a loyal customer. Again, I truly regret making this purchase and would NOT recommend it to anyone unless they can afford a ton of money in ink and enjoy dealing with a headache almost every time they need to print something!!!!

I am not happy with the paper (letter size being fed in landscape mode. I need to be able to feed overhead film 1 sheet at a time to create name labels that are 1-2" high and I never use all of one sheet at a time. My previous Brother 17" MFC printer allowed me to feed overhead sheets in portrait mode so that I didn't need to use a full sheet and could use up my inventory of partial sheets. But the new MFC-J6530DW won't handle partial sheets properly in the landscape mode. Since my need for this use is declining, I have chosen to stay with my new printer rather than try to find another machine that is wide carriage with available portrait feed. I expected that the newer version of my old printer would have the portrait feed. Sadly it doesn't.

This printer replaces a Lexmark, made here in Lexington. Sad to say, pc operating software updates (Win 7 to Win 10, disabled scanner, copier, etc. Anyway, this printer is quiet and really efficient. It's really big for my desk, but it's all good.

I love this copier/scanner/printer/fax! I have been using it, way more than the manufacturer intends and I haven't had one paper jam. I recommend buying the LC3019 ink. You will get way more out of it than the LC3017
