The background black field of the monitor in operation is actually a bit brighter than I expected. In daily operation the device is quite good, and the integrated KVM switch and audio is great.. This monitor allows me to have work and home computer system working with a minimum of cabling. Good addition to my other devices.

It has a great picture! You can have more than one application open and see both. It is working great for graphics. Learning the PIP took a bit, but was easy once I figured it out. The speakers have a great sound.

I almost didn’t buy this fabulous monitor, due to some of the negative reviews.I use this monitor with a 2019 MacBook Pro and it has exceeded my expectations. Absolutely no issues, just love it!!

Allows me to work efficiently and seemlessly without the use of multiple monitors. Easy set up.

I love the display. However, there seems to be an issue when connecting a USB-C macbook as a secondary device. You keep getting messages indicating there is no signal from the USB-C source and even when the display comes on, after a few seconds the display will display message, "scanning for signal" before switching back to my Displayport input. Other errors are shown below. Beyond which, the display is great. I did confirm my screen is using the latest firmware as advertised by Dell. Errors: No signal from USB Type-C device Switching to power-save mode

Really nice monitor. I use one at work and one at home. Like the KVM features and keyboard shortcuts with dell display manager.

GREAT RESOLUTION! I would have given the monitor 5 stars, but the on -off button is hit or miss.

This is a great monitor. It is an awesome work monitor with a huge surface area. The ability to run a TV and computer side-by-side or PIP makes things much less cluttered in my office. Only 1 minor issues, but that is due to the state of technology. 1 Monitors don't have the capability of a "remote control". So to change volume or inputs, you have to push the little buttons. I couldn't be happier!!!

I moved from a dual Dell 24" ultrasharp monitor setup to this one, and WOW what a difference! I do a lot of Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere work and this monitor has been a game changer for my workflow. Using a spyder color meter ensures my work is consistent from on-screen to prints from my labs and also video projects look good on everything from phones to TVs. If you're thinking about ditching a dual monitor setup, this is the way to go and once you do it, there is no looking back. It did take a bit to get use to having so much real estate in front of my face, but now I've gotten accustomed to it and couldn't be happier. Do it! you won't regret it!

I bought this about a month ago to primarily use for coding (develop in linux). So far it has been great. I can fit about 4 files side by side. Text is very sharp and overall it has been wonderful. My work laptop has a usbc docking option and this monitor works flawlessly. Just plug in 1 cable and the kvm takes care of the rest. Now for gaming. You will need a decent video card to drive this bad boy for gaming. I play overwatch,cs, battlefield, PUBG and when I plugged in my old setup (nvidia 970), it was terrible (worked great on my old 1080p setup). I had all sorts of ghosting, render issues, and significant drop in FPS. Since then, I upgraded to a 2070 super and it has been superb (if 60 Hz doesn't bother you). Overall this is a great monitor for screen realestate and the built in KVM is really great. Really helps you keep a tidy workplace and I can just plug in my usbc laptops at the end of the day. Gaming experience has been great so far as well (although I wish it offered freesync/gsync + higher refresh rate). But I can see the intended market for this monitor.

While it took a bit of time to get used to the Display Monitor Software, once I did, the productivity increases were astonishing!

A couple of designers at my job have this monitor, and I was jealous every time I walked by. I finally bought one myself a couple months ago, and couldn't be happier. Resolution is great, colors are crisp and everything on my screen looks epic.

Had I know that the driver doesn't support sound and the keyboard, I would have never purchased.

This is by far the worst monitor with backlight bleed I've seen so far. Dell have replaced my model 3 times and every singe one has had excessive backlight bleed. Now, after the 4th monitor, Dell claim the monitor is "working as designed" and the backlight bleed is normal. In short, this monitor CANNOT be used in dark environments or to display dark (black) content.

The screen is very good quality and the width doesn't seem to wide with the curve it has. Simple set up, but it is a bit a tad bit heavy. If using with a computer for gaming, I run a i5, 1060, and 16GB ram. It can run any game at mid and most at high to ultra on this screen. If you want a nice monitor, with wide viewing area, I highly suggest this one.

This monitor is awesome. It replaced the three separate ones I had on my desk and I absolutely love the space of it, and the lack of cables everywhere!

I purchased this monitor to use with a 2019 MacBook Pro via USB C, it works well most of the time but occasionally it looses connection when this happens it can last all day continuously loosing connection every minute or so. I have tried everything to no avail, on the product support page you can clearly see that there are no Mac drivers all they support is windows.. Buyer beware!!

There are plenty of in-depth reviews. I am simply going to say that this is an amazing monitor that is a blast. Fantastic color for editing photos and video. Amazing screen ratio for timelines and multi-tasking. When relaxing it is great for movies and games, completely immersive.

Bought this monitor a month ago and I’d say it’s the best monitor I’ve bought. I originally wanted a dual screen setup, but this monitor covers that. It’s 38inches from corner to corner. I have a laptop I bring home to work on work stuff and I also have a desktop PC. The awesome feature with this monitor is you can connect 2 PC’s to it and it has a built in KVM switch, so you can plug in your mouse and keyboard to the monitor and you can use it for both PC’s! It also has great resolution, I do CAD work and it’s perfect for 3D and AutoCAD. It’s also great for playing games!

I work from home about half of the time and my company has our computers locked down pretty tight. Therefore, I have to keep my work and home computers separate. The defining feature of this monitor compared to other 21:9 monitors on the market is the ability to connect two computers to it and switch the display, keyboard, mouse, and other USB peripherals between them with the touch of a button. I purchased this monitor to replace 3 24" Dell P-series laptops. The setup work marginally well, but I had to deal with three power cords, three video cables (DP to DVI), and a powered display port switch to get it all to work. I also had to set up a USB hub to connect all my peripherals to (keyboard, mouse, USB speaker). With this setup, I had to physically unplug the display port and USB cables from my work laptop and plug them into my home laptop in order to switch devices. I had considered purchasing a KVM but the cost for a good one that didn't sacrifice performance didn't seem worth it (many cannot support 3 monitors). With this monitor, I just have to run a display port cable and a USB cable from each laptop to the monitor inputs and connect my USB peripherals to output ports on the monitor. Setting up the shortcut to go from one laptop to another was simple. The monitor itself is rock solid with a nice adjustable stand. There may be better monitors out there for gaming (at least if you look at the specs), but this one is working very well for me.

Have been using this monitor for the last 5 months and I am very happy with it. I am using it through USB-C with my Surface Book 2 and it provides all the features I ever needed in a USB-C Docking Station and beyond. Lovely to have a single thin wire provide all video, audio, power, and USB accessories needs. And the USB switch works great when I connect another laptop to the DP input.

When LCD monitors became common place and relatively inexpensive, I developed a work style that used 3 or 4 monitors. It had some benefits, but over the years I gradually used the extra monitors less and less. In the last 2 years, I've been using just one monitor, previously a 27" Dell UltraSharp (2K). I observed a few coworkers using the 34" Ultrawide monitors and was really interested, but didn't want to sacrifice vertical resolution, as many of them had fewer vertical pixels than my 27". S...

The greatest display ever!
By colliema
I've been working with dual 27" displays for quite a while, but having that zone in the middle of un-usable space was always a bother. With this new display, it's truly remarkable how efficient it is... and the Dell Display Manager is what makes it all work seamlessly. I have one central work area with multiple sub work areas... and I can drag things at will to any of the spaces as needed. The visuals are magnificent and the occasional full display video (I suggest the beginning of Gravity) i...
