I love it. I won't lie I didn't think it was going to really work, but it was and is a game changer for larger cameras. I have been working with the C100 Mark II and the Crane 2 with the gravity plate works perfect. I would highly recommend it.

I glad they made this. Just makes it. This particular product is great, but it is only necessary because the gimbal itself wasn't designed to handle 1DX Mii.

.. First of, I do not understand why Zhiyun Crane does not ship the Crane 2 with this bigger plate, if the Crane 2 is for bigger payloads, most likely will be use with bigger cameras with battery grips, having said that, all Crane 2 must be shipped with this new plate. - Second and most importantly, DO NOT use the supplied Allen Key, is smaller that the Hex Screws and you run the risk of stripping them off, on mine I was trying to remove the first screw and got stripped, I stopped using the supplied allen key and used mine and was able to get the other 3 screws out of the plate. I'm still trying to figure how to remove the last one. The ZC2 is still usable with the original plate but that means that I need to remove the battery grip on my camera every time I want to use it for video and put it back every time I need to use it for photos. But what if I only have a Canon 1DX or a C200? - I'll be 'screwed' because there will be no way to remove the stripped screw.
