Recommendation: find another company
These printers have given us numerous issues and problems. Customer service was anything but helpful. We had 3 scheduled times for managers to call to work through problems on our four printers and the brother representative never called during the three- two hour time periods we had scheduled. After hours of being on hold and working with representatives, they have replaced 3/4 printers with different refurbished printers (all four were under warranty). The fourth printer has been "lost in the mail" for about a month now. Even the new printers we received are still causing us problems. One way to reduce the problems is to only use the expensive name brand brother printer paper only, but even with their name brand paper we still have problems. We are looking for another printer solution going forward that does not include Brother Printers.

Love the printer, hate the set up.
Printer is awesome to print shipping labels. Setup was difficult however. But once configured correctly it is awesom.

Very Good Label Printer
This printer has replaced my Brother QL-1060N Label Printer because it would not read the 'identifier pins' on the bottom of large label cartridges. My intent was to print UPS labels. My initial impression of this new printer is very good. Print quality is outstanding (example; I printed a 'Letter-Sized' page to a 4" x 6" label and was impressed by its print quality, even though the image was half its original size). The print speed is quite good. Being able to connect with this printer, using Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet or USB, makes this printer very flexible. And the selection of labels that can be used with this printer is extensive. Overall, I give this printer TWO thumbs up!

Huge time saver and reliable
Went from printing on paper, cutting to size and taping to packages to this. What a time saver. Works flawlessly.

Nice Label Printer
Nice printer for labels. The bluetooth allows you to print from your phone. This was very helpful in the warehouse.

Makes life easier
This makes my life so much easier. I was using a printer but the ink cost labels etc was ridiculous. It may cost more at first but you end up saving. .

second unit works perfect
the first one that was sent was missing internal components, wifi antenna, and just stopped working after a couple of weeks. the second one that was sent works great. Brother keeps asking me to send the old one back, never received instructions on how, yet.

Great printer when it works.
It's a great label printer and was working fine until it ran out of labels. I replaced the labels but it won't reconnect to the network. Apparently I have to restart the router (kick all my co-workers and other devices off the internet just to get it to connect again. Terrible network interface. BRAdmin Pro 4 is useless to resolve the issue. It says Error but won't say what the error is and won't allow you to reset it or reset the connection. After a few restarts of the printer, it just says No Connection now though there is no error on the device and all the lights are green. It just wont connect. It's super frustrating. Even on initial setup, I had to use the USB because it wouldn't connect any other way. Brother should really get the interface and connection issues corrected.

Game-Changer
This printer is a game-changer, and I wish I would have bought one sooner. Prints very quickly, and I don't have to tape over the label, which saves money. Note - Be sure to buy the labels specifically made for this model. Others do not work. Overall extremely satisfied!

Great but rarely connects wirelessly
Great printer, easy to use but only wirelessly connected once and has not ever since which sucks buecause that?s laregely why I chose this printer.

Good printer but label prices are high
I have never had a label printer so it's hard for me to compare. I wish the labels printed darker. They are sufficient, but the addresses seem a little light to me. I bought this printer because it was one of the few specifically supporting Macs, so I appreciate that, and because it can be used with wi-fi. The big negative of this printer is that you have to buy Brother labels which are a lot more expensive than other brands. If I had to choose again, I might try harder to use a different brand with cheaper label options. Just bring the label prices down and I could be a Brother user for life. As it is, if label prices remain high and I ever had to buy another label printer, I'd probably explore other options.

Makes my life easier!
I love this printer and it makes my life easier. It is perfect for ebay & Poshmark! I had another Brother wireless printer but I hated having to tape down so many labels. After researching, I knew I wanted another Brother printer. The main benefit is not having to buy ink! The replacement rolls are quite expensive though. Another downfall is setting it up. If you want to print from a phone, you have to screenshot a label and open it from the Brother app to print. You cannot send straight to this printer like other printers. It is still worth the extra effort.

Great little printer
I really like this printer. It is small and prints fast from my wifi network. The only downside is the proprietary labels which is not a big deal since I don't print thousands of labels(i would like to be able to print with any labels. It works great for my small business. I love the cutter function also

Perfect for at home businesses like Etsy & Ebay
We are thrilled with this printer! It is the only one we could find that works from an ipad if you run your business from an ipad. For initial connection you do have to connect it directly to your router to pick up the wifi, but only once then you are good to go. Instructions are not very laymen, so it took us a while to figure this out, but eventually did. Highly recommend!!

Difficult Set Up for Apple Mac
Setting up is not as easy as one would expect especially if you?re using a Mac. I had to install and uninstall twice to finally get the printer working right.

Top of the line
The operation of the system has been flawless and unit is self contained. However, learning how to operate without WiFi and airdropping to the printer took a bit of time to learn.
Overall a great unit.
