Great for the times you are alone or can't reach the camera
Works great and used it for my 50 y.o. self portrait studio shoot. Just gotta get creative with the poses and pointing it at the camera so the IR can be seen.

Good But Not Great
Pros: Good build quality. Comes with a nice little carrying case to keep it from getting damaged. Doesn't require any set up whatsoever. You just set your camera for remote control and away you go.
That said, I had a good deal of trouble when shooting from behind the camera to get the shutter to fire. I do landscape photography, so you'd think it's not that critical, but when for instance you're trying to time capturing waves crashing and the shutter doesn't go off, it can be frustrating.
I would not let this stop you from getting the RC though. It's much better not to touch your camera at all if you're shooting long exposure compositions.

Worth the Price
I made the mistake of purchasing a much cheaper remote that only worked within a couple of inches of the sensor on the camera. This one allows me to operate my camera from up to 10 feet away - and leaves one hand free when I do product photography. Handy

Finally Upgraded!
For years I have been using an ancient RC-1 from the 90’s on my digital SLRs. I am pleased with this little device and its holder that attaches to the camera strap.

Canon RC-6 wireless remote control
After taking pictures where I ran to the group after engaging the timer on my camera, I finally purchased a remote control to do the job. Works great and I should have purchased this years ago!

No Fuss remote
This has been a great addition to my camera gear. I have a 5D markIII, and a 60D, and it works on both cameras. I have had several remotes that have had issues when I needed to use them. This one has been great and sinks right to the camera without having to plug into it, or having multiple pieces, that each take different batteries.
