Could have been a great camera if only Canon bad put a little more effort in the software. The autofocus is slow and innacurate, and if you are not in manual mode, the camera won't shoot if it thinks it is out of focus no matter what the photographer thinks. Its a shame because the sensor is great and lenses are very good, but soffware is just too bad in this camera

I wanted a compact camera stronger than the G7XII and this DELIVERED. I've had it for a month and I am so impressed. I shoot with a canon R with the 24-70mm II so I'm picky with quality. The Canon M100 paired with the 35mm f/2 is amazing and so compact. Very happy with this purchase!

Nice little camera for travel. Just enough option/control for the casual photographer to play around with. Great deal for a reburbished unit. Looks brand new.

I love this camera. The image quality is incredible. This is my first mirrorless camera and I am impressed with how much this small camera can do. The only thing I would say that is a little negative is when you're holding the camera there's not a grip to hold on to on the camera and that feels awkward. But I ordered a Canon face jacket as an accessory and it has a grip on it. Very happy with my purchase.

Great camera. I bought it as a bundle pack. I wish it had easier operability. Upon turning or or off the camera the lens does not roll back in from zoomed in position or just to activate the camera to shoot.

The package deal advertised looked promising. I did get the camera and two lenses as expected but the extra bits of a memory card and "face jacket" were not in the package as expected. When I contacted Canon they reneged and said it was a limited time offer!! Nowhere in the advertising did it state that. Camera works well. It does have trouble focusing in low light, but there is manual focus available. The manual is a bit odd. Canon's tech writers have made up a bunch of wacky terms so its not always easy to find what you want because its now called something different. On other cameras Canon has the specs for the SD cards so you can get one that wont compromise features while using it. (Typically video but they conveniently left that out. Its up to you to figure it out. Small, light, easy to carry. -EP

I decided to try the M100 after my G16 basically died, and have been very happy with this camera. The lenses are light enough that I can carry both without feeling bogged down, and provide great focal length choices. Images are clear and the color is great!

Beautiful little dlslr camera. I have a full size Canon dslr as well and this performs great. Takes beautiful pictures, the bundle package was on sale and init was a steal. I added the mount and tried using my L lens, works perfect. Bluetooth and WiFi transfer to my iPhone is a breeze.

Doesn’t come with an SD cards like other bundles :/ as well as nothing to hold the camera in like a satchel. Over all still amazing camera, Love it!

Small camera that's very big on features. Also, the 55-200 mm lens is sharp, I have no complaints. It's the 15-45 mm lens that produces soft, foggy images. I dread having to return the 15-45 mm lens it's such a hassle.

Great purchase when it is on sale. A very nice entry level mirrorless camera. Very easy to use and understand as I was migrated from Canon digital point and shoot cameras. Picture quality is very nice and it gives me more tools to take the pictures I like than my phone. I am sure it has its limits but I feel this camera gave me a lot more than what I paid.

Small light camera, with adapter, can be used with other canon lens. It will almost fit in jacket pocket with lens attached. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. It's not a professional camera, but for a walking-around camera that's lightweight, it's perfect..

I bought this on sale because I wanted something light, portable, and powerful. So far, I love the photo and video quality, and the 15-45mm kit lens is better than I expected. Can’t wait to try more Eos M lenses.

Camera and lens arrived in almost new conditions in generic packaging. I'm still learning how to hold the camera steady in low light without leaning it against my head. It has no hand grip on the camera body. The trade back is conveniently available while travel. 22mm f2 prime lens is available cheap.

I LOVE IT! This is the absolute perfect camera for me. It has so many easy-to-use features (the wi-fi transfer to my phone makes life so much easier, it's light/not-bulky (which was important to me), a great price, and the picture quality is fantastic! Awesome camera

Great kit the Dual-Pixel autofocus is great. The kit lens is perfect for most of my needs. My only complaint is that the lens had an imperfection in the glass on the rear element that shows up when stopped down past f36.

It’s great, compact, and light! Just what I need in a travel camera. Almost fully automatic, it makes incredible use of the 1.6 crop sensor found in the DSLR line, for incredible pictures that easily surpassed those taken by a smartphone. I only wish it had a grip, like that found on the M6, as it does get hard to hold with the huge lenses you can mount on it. Even with smaller hands, it can be struggle.

Nice, compact mirrorless camera. High # of pixels, easy to use. A good entry level camera stepping up from the point and shoot ones.

Nice compact camera with a punch. It’s easy to use. Opening the lens to use is kind of weird.

Was hoping it to be a perfect camera, but ended up being useless in everything. I planned to use it for special evenings with friends, where the small body and kit lens is unobtrusive, yet I have better lens and night shots than a smartphone. It HAD to connect to my smartphone, so that I can share the images with friends/family. Canon's software would not connect! The M100 became deadweight, as I only used my iPhone to share pics with others. Who want's to wait a couple of days until I download the M100 pics onto my computer? The photos on the M100 remains unseen by everyone. Then I connected the EF-EOS M and some L lenses, and this M100 kept hunting and hunting for focus. Such as disappointment. I will rely on my smartphone and 7d cameras, and this M100 will collect dust. Canon camera/software interface MUST be super quick and intuitive.

Image quality is excellent for such a small camera
By Photo M.
Having many Canon DSLR's over the years, I wanted to try the mirrorless model that suited my needs for small size while traveling. I purchased the camera, the kit lens and the EF lens adapter. When I received the camera, I put my EF lenses on the M100 to see if they were truly compatible. They are. But the EF-M lenses are not very expensive, so I purchased the 22mm lens and just purchased the 11-22 to get even wider for landscape shots. Although the images are not as solid as my 5D Mark IV wi...

Simple to use, and great image quality

The most fun I've had with a camera is with the M100. If you enjoy taking photos but want something more than phones do, this is your camera. The touch screen controls are quite good. The fully automatic mode takes great pictures! The creative assist is helpful, and the various modes - like handheld night shot - do a great job. The decisions it makes on a lot of elements of what a camera does are really superb and free the user from having to think about them. You also have a program mode, so...

You can also establish a direct Wi-Fi® connection to use your phone as a viewfinder, as well as check and download previously captured photos and videos.
The EOS M100 camera's 3.0-inch touchscreen has approximately 1.04 million pixels, letting you preview images in high detail. It can pivot a full 180°, meaning you can capture a unique low angle view of the world or flip the screen up to get a perfect selfie.

Sometimes you can’t be sure when the perfect moment will happen. The exact moment a dog catches a ball, the one time your group of friends looks right at the camera and smiles. With continuous shooting at up to 4.0 fps, or up to 6.1 fps with AF Lock, you’re able to capture multiple photos in a short span of time, helping you get the exact moment you want.

Up to seven personal settings can be saved and applied to future images, including a new magenta to green color tone option, which can be useful for fine-tuning color under fluorescent lighting. Additionally, images shared from other photographers can be imported into the EOS M100, which can then display their settings and even apply them to the scene at hand. By helping the photographer understand how different settings affect the look and feel of the photo or video, the EOS M100 can be an excellent tool for experimenting with different photography styles

With this mode you can make adjustments ranging from smooth skin tones and background blurring to brightness and more. On top of that, a customizable self-timer helps makes sure you capture the picture you want, whether you need two seconds to flash a quick smile or ten seconds to gather your friends together for a group photo.
