This is my third Apple TV box, much upgraded from previous builds. The remote is better and the new chip makes it much faster. Moving around on the ?desktop? and stable streaming all add up to a worthwhile experience. Now?I?m ready to cancel my costly satellite TV provider! The Apple TV 4K is so easy to use and is invaluable to those of us who have cut the cord on paying $100 + for TV service. I use it to watch free movies and series such as The Morning Show and Ted Lasso. The screen resolution is outstanding! Thank you Adorama for selling it at a great affordable price!

The new Apple TV is not a revolution of the device itself, but it is am impressive evolution: it works and works well, but the remote is a true step forward. I couldn?t be more pleased with the ease of set-up, and ability to transfer settings from a previous Apple TV device. They?ve hit a home run with this one.

If you?re already bought into the Apple and iOS ecosystem, this is a great way to watch movies and shows and use apps on the big screen. The new remote feels sturdier and works just fine. The setup is dead simple if you have an iPhone.

Initial review after a couple of weeks is very positive. The remote is a definite improvement. The performance is better although upgrading from the previous generation 4k is more of a person decision.

The Apple TV HD is a solid performer and supports all of the streaming services I am interested in. What is wonderful about this version of the Apple TV is the new Siri-2 remote that came with it. It has a;; the controls I want and makes navigation easy. With the new side-mounted Siri button, I find myself using Siri a lot more for searches.

My 2nd Apple TV. I used 2nd gen for many years. It is still operational, just not receiving os updates. It does everything I expected. Controls my really old TV - both power and volume. Has the apps like Hulu, Disney+ and Synology Video. iPad has built in remote which allows to type in searches and passwords. And even has some integration with podcast app. Podcast app isn?t good though. But using it on ipad makes it half decent. I highly recommend it for anyone with iPhone or iPad. People with only android devices should get something else.

Coming from a gen 3 Apple TV.. not bad but not worth the price. Personally not a fan of the remote.. too easy to bump the touch pad in the center and functions aren?t the best.

Purchased this to replace an aging 3rd gen. Apple TV in my second bedroom. Not much of an improvement over the two 1st gen 4K Apple TV's I already had. The new remote is good, though I didn't have any issues with the last Siri remote. I like the mute and dedicated power buttons, I just wish Apple would illuminate the buttons. My biggest issue is trying to use the remote in a darkened room. I'm thinking of ditching my glitchy LG sound bar and going to two HomePods, so when that happens, the improved eArc functionality might be a boon. Time will tell. I'm definitely aggravated Apple didn't extend my Apple TV streaming subscription for a year with this purchase. It's kind of like the major cable companies giving perks to new customers and screwing their loyal customers. I'm not an Apple Arcade subscriber, but if I was, I'd be miffed at the aging A12 processor and lack of memory. All in all, it's not worth upgrading from a 1st gen 4K Apple TV,

Worked great out of the box. Programming it from my iTunes account was easy and only a few apps had to be reconnected to my accounts and passwords. I especially love the new remote.
