This is my first experience with a so-called smartwatch. I selected this watch because of its combination of size---I needed a larger display to accommodate my eyesight---and features, and also the special price at Adorama. So far, I am happy with my purchase. The battery life is great. I had very little trouble connecting the watch to my phone app. The only reason for 4 stars is that I think the heart rate is somewhat inaccurate to the high side, but I might need to adjust the position on my wrist to enable better accuracy. Overall, this is meeting my expectations.

Rugged and smart in one package. Battery last 6 full days one charge, with everything on. Fitness tracking is accurate along with all the built in Fitness apps. Display is bright and vivid.

Pretty nice watch, has a huge amount of functionality, with a bit of learning curve required to sort through the phone based app as it can be a bit disorganized. So far seems like a good product, even asked a technical question of customer service and received an answer back within 24 hrs.

Hands down the best bet for your money and performance. I have used the T-rex for walking, trail walking, road biking and swimming. I am a bull in a china shop and I am impressed with the watches durability. The interface between the App and the watch is excellent, the battery life is amazing and the sleep feedback has really helped me to have another tool to add to my sleep apnea therapy. Overall I have no regrets with this decision...P.S. So damn comfortable!!

This watch is amazing! Got it for my husband to replace his Fitbit and he couldn’t be happier! His battery lasts a little over a week. And the face on the watch is bigger so it fits him better. Definitely worth the money!

Excellent quality sport tracker watch with all the features I was looking for. Also the battery life is incredible and the cost was really reasonable. I'm a fan.

Great look and size, quite rugged, nice tactile button feel, decent waterproof rating, good battery life promised. However: - bunch of menus and screens, deeply nested; - touchscreen on such small device is quite useless practically, although starts bugging off single drop of water; - screen lock function needs to be activated through menu and keeps posting silly message upon every touch to the screen; - standard watch faces are screaming and awkward; installing custom ones basically requires hacking; - always-on watch faces don't match any of the main ones, and are not OLED-friendly (will cause burnout and shadowing over time, due to static image); - battery went from 37% to empty in two days of always-on display and background heartbeat monitoring; - the display is too shy in the sun and too bright in darkness; - no custom apps. I think it could be awesome watch if software was redesigned more toward less convoluted UI, more button usage with optional touch screen disable; more customization and apps SDK offered. Right now it looks like an engineering prototype, constantly irritating with poor UI ergonomics and silly shortfalls. Less convenient than a regular outdoor watch. Returning.
