This is a great all in one printer/fax/scanner..however the directions to install and use are very complicated. Once installed correctly, it is a quick and efficient printer.

Working on my master's degree, so obviously, printing is important. My Officejet 6978 finally died after 5 years. I will say, HP does not improve next-generation printers performance. Printing speed is way slowed down with this product. I use to print research articles (in color) in seconds, this machine requires minutes. Huge disappointment of a printer. It recommends 800page minimum use per month, the sad thing is you would wait an entire month to print 800 pages. I truly feel you will be sorely disappointed if you are changing from an older higher-quality product by HP to this machine.

Some of the pieces fell off and I can't get them back on such as a piece on the lid that needs to be lifted to place a document on the glass . The material is flimsy and less than the bare minimum required. It just about works for now, but probably for less than a year.

I was very happy with my HP6700 so when needed bought another HP product. Set up was problematic, no explanation for signing up for certain features, (is it needed for function) had to use the HP Dr. to get it to work. Two weeks of use and 5 issues requiring help. Now the printer is refusing to work unless I sign up for the insta ink program. The kicker is I am already enrolled and have installed the insta ink cartridges. No help from my local Staples where I bought it.

I bought this printer in Oct 2020, and it starting to have problems after 2 months of use (I only used it to print my homework), then the ink was on backorder, could not buy it anywhere else. I had to stop using it for months until I was able to buy the ink for it. Then another problem came, it keep getting blackout and I have to restart every time. Then I reset back to factory settings, that problem is fixed, but another problem came. The cyan ink cannot be printed, even though I changed to a new ink cartridge. I have to reset again, and now the scanner won't work. It just too many problems.

We decided to get a new printer to replace an old one and we got this one, but it has only been about a year since we got it and it is already unusable. For one, a few months ago the scanner completely broke, nothing we can do will solve it and it is just permanently dead after very little use, and add to that the printer has to update constantly and would need to run diagnostics which just wastes ink, also about one in four times we added ink to it even though it is the exact kind it needs it rejects it and we have to buy more, overall it only worked passably for the first few months and we eventually just started using our old one even though it isn't supported by HP software anymore, and this week the new one we tried to reset it and now it is completely stuck in a state of trying to reset to factory settings, and nothing we try will make it go back to normal. Do not get this printer.

I bought this printer a year and a half ago, we have multiple HP Printers at my work. For the last 3 months it rarely works, multiple and I mean multiple error messages and blue blinking screen. I have tried all of the trouble shooting nothing works. I will never buy this model again and would not recommend it at all.

I have used HP printers for over 20 years and generally been happy with the results. I had to replace an old OfficeJet and chose this one primarily on price, as I needed few features just scanning and light printing. Ink cartridges are small and very difficult to install, paper jams are very hard to clear, loading paper could not be more difficult. Overall poor design, HP stop using a different cartridge for every printer, be consistent. Use the same cartridge for multiple printers for a change.

Had to replace my +8 year old HP and picked up the 8025. The printer itself is great, it prints, scans, faxes; by itself its superb. Installing it and using the HP Smart software on the other hand has been the bane of my existence for the past 3-weeks. For the life of me i cannot get it to install correctly, I've installed and uninstalled, by the book, the manual way, made firewall exceptions and allowances, used that HP Dr thing, entered IPs and Passwords digit by digit. AND IT STILL WONT COMPLETELY WORK. I've had to find workarounds to do things, lucky the printer itself has them! I can scan and send straight to my email, or print directly from my email using eprint. I've even tried the simplest thing, using a printer cable, the software doesn't recognize it despite my computer seeing it. HELP!

I have had this printer for a while and only used it for fairly simple documents. I am trying to print some pages with pictures on them. These pages have a lot of white space, so this is not a huge requirement. If I print in normal mode, the pictures are fuzzy. So I tried max DPI and not it stops mid-page and won't finish printing. This has happened 3 times in a row with different pages. Unacceptable!

After using the printer for a year or two I noticed severe streaking on graphics. I tried cleaning the head and replacing cartridges and it hasn't helped. I can now only use the printer for text.

I had the Pro 8600 prior to this printer and it was so much better. It was sturdy, had excellent features compared to the 8025. I am very disappointed in this printer. It feels cheap and does not perform well.

I have always purchased HP printers. On the one occasion I didn't I was very disappointed so I purchased the Officejet Pro 8025. This is the worst HP printer I have ever owned, the paper jams easily when more than one page prints, and it's not consistent, it doesn't matter what app I use. When printing labels they are off, so the contents of the label are skewy wiff! Last but not least, the paper tray has always been difficult to load and unload, and it's never obvious if the paper is lined up correctly in the tray! Very disappointed.

I bought this printer ti replace my old OJ 6500 709N. it was slow to print when starting to print but the Photo quality of the print was pretty good. This printer is no good for photo. I am very disappointed at the quality, it is grainy with a yellowish cast. I will return this printer and replace it with a Canon or an Epson printer.

I received my printer today, easy setup, didn't have to do much, once connected to the internet, HP did everything. This was a replacement to my 8635 which was a very good printer and functioned very well, unfortunately the printhead malfunctioned. The only thing I am not happy about is the material but for the price, I guess it's okay. Ir will grow on me.t.

We've owned this printer less than a year. After the first cartridge pack replace after about 5 months of use, the cyan suddenly quit. No amount of print head cleaning will fix it. I hate that I paid money for this one use throw-away garbage.

Device works great. However ordering replacement ink cartridges fro hpshopping has proven to be a challenge - you need to order ink well before you need it because the chartridges may be out of stock - I’ve never experienced this with other hp printing devices that live owned in the past.
