Wish headset microphone would work when using docking station. My sennheiser and bose headsets with microphone could not get microphone to work.

I purchased one of these for working from home and love it. It supports dual 4k monitors and all the other connections I need (network, USB, etc). It was so easy to get setup. Plugged everything in and it was automatically there.

I had an earlier model Targus docking station very similar to this one. I used it for about 8 years until it simply wore out. This one I purchased, plugged it in and it worked immediately, including driving two monitors and three printing devices. Only one negative, and probably just to me, is that it does not power my laptop. (The previous model did.) Therefore, I must use my separate power brick when hooked up to the dock, and when I unhook to go portable, i must get under my desk to unplug the power brick to take with me. I give this device 4.5 stars. If it sent power to my laptop when docked, i would give it 6 stars. (5+ stars.)

This device starts up and runs for about an hour, then goes into a cutting out and back in sequence that will drive you nuts. The support blames another party and apparently there is no fix for this. THEN WHY ARE THESE STILL ON THE MARKET? FIX YOUR PRODUCT!

Starting with Android 9 Samsung allowed any usb 3.2 gen 1/2 dock station to be used as DEX accessory effectively turning your phone to a desktop. It is a nice docking station, has built-in USB3 hub, analog audio out, dual display over DB and HDMI ports, gigabit nic, auxiliary USB-C port, etc. However there are several issues that needs to be addressed to earn "Universal" title. First and foremost - compatibility. It works fine with my lenovo work laptop. However it is only capable of driving at 1Kx60Hz. if I plug hdmi cable directly to laptop I get 4Kx60Hz. Interesting that my monitor supports lower compression profiles like 4:2:2 or 4:2:0. I also have Galaxy S21 Ultra Android phone. When I plug it to $20 docking station it switches to Dex mode with no issues. However if I plug it to DV4K only keyboard and mouse works, phone doesn't switch to dock ethernet connection and doesn't send video to my monitor. It doesn't work even if I switch phone to screen mirroring mode. Phone seems to negotiate fast charging over PD interface with dock. I suspect that display and network issues could be attributed to dock usb chip ids for video and network devices unrecongnized by Samsung Dex.

This USB-C dock works as advertised. I'm on a Windows 10 laptop. I love the look and feel of this docking station, and I was thrilled to see both of my monitors worked right off the bat, plug and play. Then I plugged in my network cable and the green and amber LEDs came on. My home office set-up has multiple Monitors, Tablet for drawing, Mouse, Keyboard, mobile charger, Headset slot etc. needed to be connected to a Docking Station. Outstanding way to dock your laptop at the office and run two monitors. The resolution is sharp and the extra USB ports are a lifesaver this product has true 4K output in both monitors. This device works flawlessly, network speed is phenomenal, and responsiveness is wonderful. Your existing screen settings do not change every time you dock, gives you as close as standard docking experience as you could imagine. Highly recommended. Excellent docking station. Very nice construction and build quality. Everything is sturdy. Was so impressed I'm getting another for my office.

This docking station is perfect for my WFH needs. I needed something to wrangle all the fobs, cords, and gadgets for my new WFH setup and this docking station does the trick. I really like how compact and sleek it is.

This dock is great for connecting a laptop via USB C to up to 2 other monitors. It is super easy to set up, and I haven't had any issues so far with using it. The doc is slanted in a way that works well if you want to put your laptop on top of it, but you don't have to. Overall, it's great and it does what it's supposed to do.

I work from home and have been looking for something that would allow me to set up two monitors plus my laptop that would be organized and not bulky. I found that Targus docking station had all my needs in one. Easy to set up and small enough that it doesn?t take up a lot of space on my computer. I love that fact that it has usb slots to charge my phone and other things all in one spot. It supports 4K monitors as well. For the price and everything it has to offer I definitely think it?s worth picking up for anyone that?s looking for a docking station/second monitor hookup.

This USB-C? Universal DV4K Docking Station with 100W Power is a great product that allows you to organize your wires and power charging. I've had a few of these types of devices and I favor this one the most. It does everything I need and more. I highly recommend this if your're in a wired up mess.

It does its job well in bringing life to my MacBook at home, where I usually use my desktop, by extending the display and decluttering my desk. While the angled top surface is one of its selling points, I have not been using it as I rely off of the bigger monitors rather than the mac?s smaller screen. Overall, this is a nice addition to my workspace. A few things to take note of while using this. 1 for older MacBooks without a usb-c port, make sure to charge it if you pan on closing the lid. This will keep the screen extension alive instead of the MacBook going to sleep. 2) make sure that your laptop is powerful enough to support bigger screens.

This is a lifesaver I'm able to hook up my monitors my mouse and everything I need to get the work done I'm needing to do. It has five USB 3.0 ports so I'm able to charge my smartphone and tablets. This has made my speed of my internet a bit quicker so I love this docking station quicker to go between my email and get all the necessary work done this is what I've been missing. The way i can lay my keyboard on it helps a lot. The design is awesome.

I got this docking station a few weeks back as part of my ongoing project to beef up my home office while I've been working from home during the pandemic. This docking station has been a lifesaver - it's let me connect all of my disparate devices (laptops, monitors, speakers, etc into one setup. Importantly, it's also nice and compact, so it's easy to hide among all of my devices. I highly recommend this for anyone working from home!

None of your sucking software drivers work. Displaylink manager, the os extension, the legacy one in the forums, none of that sucking works. The 50$ port of Anker in Amazon just sucking works for 2 monitors without any of this hassle. What is the sucking miracle in your software that I need to install to make it work for my Mac?

I was afraid because I read a lot of reviews saying that this didn't work with a Macbook. However, I had nothing to lose so I decided to try it and I can report it works just fine. Go to the DisplayLink site and install the DisplayLink Manager (mine is version 1.1.0) and it'll work. I'm using 2 external monitors (4k,1080P) I also connected a third monitor directly to the laptop port. All monitors work, the Ethernet and USB ports also work.

I set this up in only minutes and I am pleased as it has the ability to do everything I needed it to. I now have 2 monitors set up and with 4 USB ports and 2 HDMI ables, I have all that I need and more! Also has 1 Gigabit Ethernet port for ethernet access. It came with a USB-C to C able too. In other words, it had everything I needed to set it up and use with my existing electronics!!

I'm not a big fan of the beveled look, as this means nothing can be place on top of it (even taking into account the ventilation channels. Additionally, this dock only supports mirrored external screens on a Mac. Therefore, the connected displays will only show the same second screen.

Been using for over 2 months. Plenty of connections for dual monitor use. Just wish the power was a little better for my laptop. It needs 65W for a Dell 15", but only 60W from the dock. Still enough to power, but get warning when I start up, and can't close laptop without it shutting down. Works perfectly with the 13" Dell from work.
