It's easy to send your pictures to the Server from your iPhone (don't have an Android, so I don't know about that). If you want to store pic from Windows 10 it's not quite so easy. The Windows app is still in Beta as I understand it. As for organization on the Server, it works pretty well, especially for your pix that have GPS info attached. If however, you are loading pix that come from most DSLRs or SLRs this information is not available as a result of the cameras not having GPS info. So, you have to either do without that info for these pix or use an EXIF editor to add it BEFORE you send them to the server to take advantage of this indexing method. It does do a good job of not storing duplicates. They just don't get loaded to the Server. One startup note. If you plan to use Seagate Expansion Drives to populate the Server, please be aware that they are hard to get into the space allocated. This, however, does keep them from being easily dislodged if you move the Server.

It is a little hard to move a lot of pictures to it. I wish it would sort by picture& you didn't have to do it yourself

Impressive - The solution is stable and reliable, which is foundational to pull off something like this. As far as the feature-list goes, there is a lot more that can be incorporated be it in the mobile or desktop app. I sure look forward to some of those.

Works fine at home in uploading photos. However, I am unable to turn on the remote access feature. I've read all of the articles on the Monument support website with regards to this issue (seems that a lot of other people are in the same boat). When I reached out to Monument, all they did is send me a link back to the same articles and told me to contact my internet provider. It's a shame that you have to be a network engineer in order to set up this feature. My home network consists of an ATT Uverse modem and an Asus router.

My needs were to combine my desktop (iMac OSX) system and iOS stuff with magic organizational wizzardry, and the Monument isn't the device for this. The software hides file structure and locating images traditionaly impossible. I was hoping for a "cloud" type, local device giving access to all my networked platformed images, with the benefit of organizational skills. That isn't Monument.

Excellent product, would highly recommend it for any photographers or smartphone user who are tired of paying monthly fees for cloud services to keep his/her moments. The device is extremely easy to set up and use, you just follow the 3 steps ( you cant go wrong ) and thats it. The nice thing of Monument device is once you install it it group the pictures on such a way that makes it easy to recall ! Either by date, location, person in photo ... and much more.
