I have a Canon 40D that can not take advantage of the UDMA cards so I always go with this SanDisk 30MB/s card. I have never had a failure with any of them and the price is usually right. The 8GB holds about 1400 photos with the 40D.

Its what you want in a card, reliability. Company has a good name from a reputable retailer at a fair price. I'm not sure I would pay more for a faster card as I don't really notice a difference between this one and my slower ones. Unless you are a pro, don;t fork out the big bucks for a .0024 sec faster card.

I HAVE A CANON G2 AND I AM TRAVELING TO ITALY SOON. I WAS LOOKING TO TRAVEL WITHOUT A LAPTOP. MY 256 MB CHIP REQUIRED DAILY DOWNLOADING.I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GO 32 DAYS WITHOUT DOWNLOADING. I HAVE ADDITIONAL BATTERIES SO I CAN TRAVEL AND SHOOT WITHOUT FEAR OF RUNNING OUT OF SPACE OR TIME.

I was recommended the Sandisk Ultra II by Adorama when I bought my Canon 40D from them. If you've read all of the reviews/opinions on the internet, you've been led to believe that you need a 60 MB/S camera card (or at least a 30 MB/S) or you'll miss the shot of a life time and it will take forever for your buffer to process the photos. You DON'T. I figured I'd just buy this card as a cheap alternative to better cards until I could afford a better (faster) one. Well, I've taken tons of pictures of my son pitching and hitting at his baseball games, to include one that was printed in my local paper. I've taken lots of photos in bursts (the 40D is a semi-pro camera that many pro sports photographers still use) and the camera has never had to wait for the card to catch-up. In short, listen to Adorama (and me) and buy this card. It's great for anything short of full-on multiple bursts, have to get the picture or I won't get paid sports action photography. And, you'll save yourself some money.

San Disk never seems to fail me yet! I can't say enough good things about their memory cards. I have three that have not yet failed over multiple uses. I just purchased 7 more for a wedding and I have no doubt they will be just as good! I will let you know if they are not!!! You will love the San Disk line of memory cards.

I have used many different cards and I found that SanDisk are the best. I have six of these for my three Canon DSLR's plus other SanDisk cards. I only trust SanDisk with my photos.

I use this card for all kinds of professional shoots, including private sessions to weddings and dance schools. I like the 8G card because I can shoot several photographs before having to switch cards. I like using a couple of 8G cards rather than 1 16G card, so my photos load quickly.

I Love Adorama and the price they gave me my San Disk for is awesome and better than I could do anywhere else. So good I immediately ordered another one. Thanks Adorama !!

Good, solid card. Been using it for about 6 months with no issues. Every card we use is Sandisk, and they have never let us down. Can't say that for some of the cheaper brands!

For the sake of helpfulness, I will divide this review into 3 important section: 1) How I use it: - I use this card for my Canon EOS 40D. I figured that with a camera that can shoot 6fps, you'll need a card that can read at a speed equivalent or greater to the capacity that the largest RAW images take. - My raw files were up to about 15MB from what I've seen, so I snagged this card. 2) What's great about it: - Does what it's suppose to. It reads/writes FAST. Because of affordable cards like this, I would NEVER settle for a standard grade CF card. This is the minimum. 3) What's not so great about it: - Absolutely nothing is not great. Everything is great.

These new Ultra Cards (30mg per sec vs. the older Ultra II) are a great value. I don't notice any difference between these and my Extreme III cards. [$] for an 8gig card is great. 5 stars for performance/value.

Not the fasted card out there, but I used it at an airshow with lots of high shutter speed, rapid fire sequences and it kept up just fine.

I've had the same SanDisk CF cards for several years, and have never had a problem with them! They just keep working. I love the storage capacity of the 8GB versions. Very reliable storage, not one lost file yet.

8gb is great.. but compared to my 30 sec/mb this card is slow to write..especially when shooting sports.

I was able to capture 5 frames per second with the MB-10 attached to my D300 and never overran the card. Which is better than expected for this card.
