My first RRS item, bought it for a 3 Legged Thing Monopod. It?s good but one criticism is the knob to tighten the Arca Swiss plate is quite stiff. Still, better than being loose I suppose.

The RRS monopod us amazing. Highest of quality and performance gives confidence that the job will get done without error. I've used lesser brands and always am concerned that my lens will fall off because of the flimsy designs. Not so with RRS.... Using RRS I sleep better!

Rated for 75 lbs, this monopod head is smooth with even the largest telephoto lenses, yet compact. With a full 180 degrees of tilt travel, the giant knurled tilt-lock knob is easy to grip and operate, even while wearing gloves. In addition to the standard 3/8"-16 threaded socket, the base of the head features a dovetail to add versatility in mounting.
