I am really happy with this purchase. My only complaint is that out of the box this monitor did not look good. You have to find and turn off/down some of the energy saver features and set your computer to use the 10bit color depth to get the most from this monitor. Once you get it set up it is very sharp, the black is not washed out by the backlight, and the colors are vivid. I do photography and this screen enables me to pursue my passion. Great job LG. Setting up the stand was easy and I like that its not super high like other stands can be. Also there were both HDMI and Display Port cables in the box and they were nice quality cables which made me happy. Great value.

We needed a 4K monitor and selected this product based on the specs. It didn't disappoint in any way. Great picture and flexible input features.

I don't game but I do a lot of photo editing and some video editing. The colors are very accurate and the 4K really makes a huge difference! Got it for a great deal compared to similar 4K monitors out there too!

Considering price, size and specs this is a great monitor. Working with the settings I've got the monitor set for mostly reading html pages with great clarity. To watch movies and play games some of the setting would have to change but I can accomplish that with the nvidia setting on windows easily. Would recommend for someone that wants a generally good 4k monitor without breaking the bank.

I tried two other monitors brands before settling on this LG 27" monitor. It works well with my iMac 2019 and the display color matches with the iMac display colors. I found other monitors had more a yellow tint and this one did not. I had heard LG supplied Mac monitors in the past, I felt that was an advantage for choosing this monitor. It is easy use the menu to adjust the brightness and colors, etc. Its nice that there isn't any annoying light on the monitor to tell you that its off. I would recommend this monitor.

I brought this monitor to go along with my Mac Mini I purchased--the cost of the monitor and Mac Mini was less than getting a comparably equipped iMac, which at the present only comes in a 24" monitor. I'm happy thus far--I would've preferred the iMac's slightly higher resolution (Retina display, but for photo processing this is working out very well.

I bought this for work from home and could not be happier. Quality is super clear and responsive. Very sturdy monitor that is as the tidally pleasing.

Using the LG 27UK500-B for video editing. I was conceding other brands/models most costing more, the folks at B&H said the LG would be a better fit for my needs. I'm happy I listened to them.

4k picture is clear and colors are accurate. It appears to be Gsync compatible as well. The design of the stand should be considered as it takes up more space than I'd like since the legs curve out toward you about 3 inches. If you have the space and need a budget 4k monitor, pick this up.

I bought this model a month ago, because I didn't like the resolution on the less expensive Dell monitor I had purchased, particularly for text. I have been totally satisfied with the readability and clarity of text on the LG. The images, color, etc. are also terrific. What is not terrific, however, is the base. It is flimsy and makes the monitor shake when I am typing. It's really poor design, unfortunately. I have found a way to remedy this by supporting the screen with a cushion I happened to have lying around, but this is obviously not ideal.

I got this in sep 2020 and I am glad I made a right choice. I wanted a monitor that’s good for eyes and give clear clarity for texts. it goes well as desktop display with MacBook Pro and display quality is outstanding for Mac. It also has 2 hdmi and 1 display ports and I am able to connect 2 laptops and switch between them. I love the joy stick like buttons to control volume and go to other settings. It would have been great if there is a shortcut like volume control to switch between hdmi ports. may be LG can look at this and make up and down joy stick button work for hdmi display switch. Overall great buy! one area of improvement is if the joy stick

Bought this to extend my work space for work (writing, programming, research and to have pretty 4K for my occasional gaming, ESO and others. This monitor has worked brilliantly. Pros: clear and responsive, nice presets for different tasks (reading/standard for work, FPS/RTS for gaming, HDR for fun), multiple inputs for easy cable management. Clean look. Cons: no auto switching between inputs, must use the little nipple joystick on the bottom to control inputs and settings, would be nice if could customize what the default actions were to just pushing in directions. Not a big deal for me as I have the monitor on a swivel stand near me when using it.

I bought this monitor to replace one I borrowed from my office, which was a similar LG model (27UL800 I think). The main difference is that this model is not height adjustable. I also noticed this model is much lighter, and base is plastic and not metal. But, I like the black color better than the white back and silver base of my work monitor. I still get the sharp 4K resolution, and the colors look good. I think it’s a great monitor for $349, and it works great with my MacBook Pro.
