Since 2010, I have owned three Optoma projectors with never a problem and always enjoyed beautiful sharp images. Setup is easy and maintenance is almost nil.

Great mid price projector. Extremely bright with vivid colors. Good for day time viewing (with curtains closed of course) and FANTASTIC at night! I only wish this had a better throw. The farther you move the projector back more real estate. Extra inputs would be nice too. I get a bigger (but inferior) picture with my mini pico projector. I promise you be happy with this purchase. Just have a streaming stick and some speakers with Bluetooth connectivity. HD146x is a boss

Hi this is my first projector purchase, and this was the perfect starter! Very easy to use everything is very straightforward, only received a quickstart guide no full manual. Gaming was better than expected with low latency. Projected a 200 inch screen on my garage very nicely and is now sitting in my basement with a 150inch screen (will update with photos eventually. I was especially impressed with the color menu. I cant say much about other projectors, but compared to a similarly priced TV the difference is night and day. Speaking of day, the projector works way better than expected in daylight indoor conditions. the remote which while backlit, it has buttons for functions that the projector cannot do, however with the HDMI link and another device those buttons may be become very convenient, haven't tested that though. As stated in the title, this is my starter projector, so I have no other projectors to compare it to, but I can confidently say that I wont be buying another TV anytime soon. I considered giving -1 star because I would like to see more HDMI inputs (there is only 1) and older generations had multiple. I overlooked this detail when purchasing and honestly probably would have passed on had I caught it. This detail also wont really affect users who have a good audio receiver though, and it is the 2020 model so it could be expected a majority of users would be using one at this point. This could be the reason the pricing is lower than older models on amazon.... Also this projector cannot be mounted to a tripod with a 1/4 camera thread some sort of adapter is necessary. I am very happy with my purchase and will update with some photos soon! Thanks for reading my review!
