I ordered these stand to go along with a 6x6 scrim. I use the scrim to mimic natural light in studio. I can use a single stand to hold the scrim vertically and that frees up a ton of floor space. We also use them outdoors in tandem to hold a larger scrim. And, these suckers will raise higher than you'll likely need them to. I'm spoiled now as I want all my stands to have wheels.
