Ok needs wireless N, too slow for 5d Mk2

Its good, but I gave up on the instructions. I am an IT of 20yrs and its was fine but kept dropping connections; it was also VERY slow with 5d MKII shooting raw etc. The only way to seeped it up was to do ADHOC and avoid my Wireless n router. This speed it up a fair bit but still...its slowish!

Built for the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, the new WFT-E4 II A not only provides a full array of advanced wireless functions, it's also a dedicated, fully operational camera grip offering seamless, vertical shooting with all buttons and controls optimally placed for intuitive operation no matter the orientation.

The WFT-E4 II A offers fast IEEE 802.11 a/b/g connectivity, is perfect for wireless camera linking and syncing and is compatible with a variety of Wi-Fi Protected Setups (WPS). It has Bluetooth built in and a USB port for connections to external drives and GPS systems. It can even function as a remote Live View shooter. All this, while also enhancing the functions and balance of the EOS 5D Mark II, means no-compromise wireless photography is simple and in the palm of your hand.

  • Remote Live View: The EOS 5D Mark II with WFT-E4 II A attached can pair with a computer for remote Live View composing, shooting and image transfer
  • File Transfer Options: With the WFT-E4 II A, users have a number of different options for image transfer both on and offsite.
  • USB Host Capability with GPS Support: GPS devices can be connected to the WFT-E4 II A to transmit location and elevation data along with the EXIF data for each image.
  • Linked Multi-Camera Shooting: Camera linking with the WFT-E4 II A attached makes it possible for up to 10 cameras to shoot simultaneously. Up to 10 cameras can be connected independent of a network and set up to take a shot the instant the shutter is released on the Master (Main) camera.
