The joystick, which controls all of the internal functions for the monitor stopped working shortly after receiving it. If you take a look online, there are too many complaints regarding the joystick failing and working intermittently with no fix besides sending it to LG.

I bought this monitor around January 2020, and loved it for the first maybe 10 months? Till it failed, I had horizontal and vertical gridlines badly and throughout the entire montior not just a section. I had bought it through an online sale from B&H photo and video in the states - first mistake; however, they were helpful and replaced the monitor for me after several emails and photo evidence. They were still a pain to deal with as it was always a different person receiving or replying to the email, and I had to repeated information a couple times since i guess they didnt take the time to read the tread. MAYBE 9 months after replacing the monitor with a BRAND NEW one it failed completed, couldnt even use it as half the screen was black and it was simply inoperable. I called LG Canada and USA to try and get some help in replacement or just a straight refund since this monitor didnt even last a year TWO TIMES. Yet they just kept telling me to call the other country's LG since they couldnt do anything about it. Its been a long time since iv been bounced between companies because either one is too inept to try and help; or just wanted to play the blame game. I spent 7 hours on the phone the first time, escalated as far as i could go in the company only to receive the same answers. I had maybe one good interaction with the Canadian side in their manager actually going out of his way to create a conference call with the USA side, but unfortunately he wasnt able to stay on the line because he had a meeting and had already wasted an hour on hold. This company is an absolute disgrace in terms of quality, customer service, and trust in support. I will never again buy LG electronics, and i will deter anyone i can from them. Pathetic response from LG Canada and USA. I bought a dell monitor, had an issue within the same time period and they're sending me a replacement unit free within the week. COMPLETE difference with LG, and this was an online chat interaction that took all of 20 minutes. LG is an embarassement, save your money and buy a different brand.

Excellent picture! I have used it for both work and gaming. It performs great and the colors are excellent! The only downside is the software to manage the monitor and led lights isn't particularly intuitive.

Love the monitor but hate the warranty repair service. Took over a week to get a return label (with me following up online), a week to ship, and now parts backordered and no end in sight or notifications of status along the way. Will reconsider for my next purchase.

This WQHD curved monitor is so immersing playing any game became much more fun in it. Max resolution is good, not as good as a 4k monitor, but at this size it's enough. The back of the monitor lights add so much more life to my setup. The cable management is good too. It is compatible with Nvidia G-Sync. I haven't noticed any dead pixels. There's virtually no latency when playing online games. All in all, I love this monitor.

Guys and gals, this thing works very well. The backlight is nice, wish it was compatible with other lighting programs, the screen, color, quality is all up there where you would expect it. Everything seems built very well. The only issue it that sometimes I have to completely turn the monitor off and unplug it when switching between various different inputs (I connect a work laptop to it and the gaming rig). On a side note, works well for spreadsheet related activities. So, you can pretend you got it for work :). I won't tell.

I've had this monitor for 3 weeks now and it is everything I was looking for. Working with multiple windows at once is so nice with the size and gaming in my off time is great with this monitor.

I purchased this directly from LG and it arrived quickly. They include all the cables, but due to my set up I needed a longer display port cable(no big deal). You need to make sure that your USB cable is attached to a 3.0 port or some lighting functions will not work. And they do. I even managed to write a simple script and the screen is synced with all my razor chroma gear. Simply Wow. I use the monitor for gaming, surfing, as well as, my more tedious work duties.

The promise of this display is tall order. I've ordered two of these from B&H. The second being a replacement to the first. Both had stuck pixels out of the box. The color consistency between the two display is night and day, with the second one being significantly colder in temp than the first. At this retail price, I would expect more of a quality product. I know that this can happen to a display, but day 0, on two units!? I'm sending them back.

I bought this as soon as it came out. I originally had a 144hz 1080 from lg so this looked liked a direct upgrade. Looks wonderful and the color sphere is awesome. At night you really can get immersed. Love this monitor was totally worth the price!

This monitor is a major upgrade from my current X34. This monitor has thinner bezels, weighs less, supports DP 1.4 (upgrade from 1.2, HDMI 2.0 ( don't care for 2.1 as my Xbox Series X is connected to an LG 65B9), 144hz OC'd to 180Hz (upgrade from 100hz). The brightness of the screen is unbelievable, as it is rated as 600 HDR. With Gsync Ultimate and for the price this monitor is a beast! I already have a LG 27GN950 which is 144hz at 4k at 600 HDR and loved it! I chose it over the Samsung Odyssey G7 (hate VA panels as viewing angles are horrible and it showed). So I decided to buy this over other contenders I had like the LG 48in CX OLED, the ASUS ROG Swift PG43UQ 43? 4K, and the 49in Odyssey G9. The price it's better along with value for performance. Not to mention the customer service is amazing. I went with 2K over 4k because my EVGA RTX 3080 FTW Ultra still struggles with high refresh rates at 4k. Plus the LG CX maxes out at 120hz, the ROG did have 144hz but no Gsync Ultimate, and the Odyssey G9 is flat out too expensive for a VA panel. So LG one this round. Though if I really could get what I wanted it would have been the new 32in 4k 144hz Gsync Ultimate by ROG, but I am not paying the ridiculous amount of money they are asking for it. I am glad I purchased. Would highly suggest.

This Monitor is fantastic great response time local dimming & with HDR on @ 180hz smooth gameplay pricey yes but worth it perfect for the 30 series cards from Nvidia.
