Love this camera
I have to admit, I bought this camera for it's appearance. I also own a Nikon D5300 which I kind of doubt I'll ever pick up again. I love that the controls are on the outside of the camera and the hybrid viewfinder is awesome. No more taking a photo then checking the exposure on the LCD screen afterwards. You can see the exposure before you snap the photo and make necessary adjustments on the fly. Love, love love this camera.
The FUJIFILM X100T is a premium rangefinder-style digital camera specially developed for photographers who want superior image quality, camera performance, and functionality in a compact and vintage design. The X100T is equipped with a powerful 16.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, along with the EXR Processor II and its Fujinon 23mm f/2 fixed wide-angle lens, to deliver outstanding and high-resolution image quality. 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II Sensor & EXR Processor II
The X100T has an integrated large APS-C-sized CMOS II image sensor that offers as much as 16.3 megapixels for high-resolution photos. FUJIFILM’s unique X-trans pixel array helps keep your photos sharp and vivid while reducing the need for an optical low-pass filter, which mildly blurs patchy, denim-like areas to reduce image ripples (moiré) and aliasing.
The EXR Processor II helps improve image quality further by automatically correcting lens aberrations and diffraction blur, as well as reducing noise from high ISOs, to help create cleaner, more accurate images. Aside from improving the X100T’s performance when shooting in low-light situations, the EXR Processor II effectively shortens the camera’s start-up time to only 0.5 second, the shutter lag to just 0.01 second, and the shooting interval time to only 0.5 second, allowing the camera to shoot continuously up to 6 frames per second, or up to 25 consecutive full-resolution JPEGs.
The newly-developed electronic rangefinder
For the first time ever, you can enjoy highly accurate manual focusing with an optical viewfinder. The simultaneous display of the EVF area on the screen of the optical viewfinder allows accurate focusing in real time.
All you need to do is to turn the focus ring and bring the subject in the EVF area into focus, just like focusing with a rangefinder. Or, select Focus Peaking and Digital Split Image™ and the magnification of the focus area can be changed.
Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder with Electronic Rangefinder
The FUJIFILM X100T is built with an improved advanced hybrid viewfinder with an electronic rangefinder that allows the user to focus as if an actual vintage mechanical rangefinder is used. Simply switch the viewfinder lever to the left (from optical viewfinder mode) to start using the electronic rangefinder mode. There are also different modes like the Focus Peak Highlight and Digital Split Image to change the magnification of your chosen subject.
The frame coverage in the X100T is significantly better than its predecessor, the X100S, by 2%. Thanks to the electronic rangefinder’s real-time parallax correction, more accurate image composition is possible. This means you won’t have to reframe your shot every time you change your focus. The Shooting Effect Reflection settings within the viewfinder also make it easier to compose your shots with different camera effects, such as on Film Simulation Mode.
Intuitive and easy to use
The use of traditional dials allows users to see camera settings at a glance, even when the camera is turned off. Settings can be made so you're ready to shoot according to lighting conditions, which enhances the camera's instinctive functionality. Your conversation with the FUJIFILM X100T starts the moment you pick it up.
The new Classic Chrome mode
The value of a photographic image is not only determined by resolution or composition, expressions and feelings are also important. Classic Chrome reproduces colors from the film genre, with rich tones reminiscent of the old reversal era.
Full HD Film Simulation Movie Recording
The X100T supports full HD video recording with resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080p at 60 frames per second—twice as much as those of traditional film recorders—for smoother movement of subjects and scenery. Its 36Mbps high bit-rate when shooting video gives you greater clarity that’s ideal for viewing on HDTVs, which can be showcased via the mini built-in HDMI out. And unlike many video recording devices, the X100T allows manual focusing, white balance, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO adjustments, as well as Live View on the optical viewfinder while you’re shooting.
Because FUJIFILM is known for its traditional film-based photography, the X100T has integrated optional Film Simulation modes to give your videos a more classic finish (muted tones and deep color reproduction) similar to that of old-fashioned slide films. Improve the quality of your movies by using the optional external microphone for recording high-quality sound. Thanks to the FUJIFILM X100T, making cinema-quality movies is possible with just a small and compact rangefinder-style camera.
