I would have liked it a lot more if I knew the 100f was due out right after I purchased this - at about the same price. Great travel camera. Users bag on battery life but i had no issues with abnormal drainage. I Highly recommend.

I have to admit, I bought this camera for it's appearance. I also own a Nikon D5300 which I kind of doubt I'll ever pick up again. I love that the controls are on the outside of the camera and the hybrid viewfinder is awesome. No more taking a photo then checking the exposure on the LCD screen afterwards. You can see the exposure before you snap the photo and make necessary adjustments on the fly. Love, love love this camera.

Great people camera, seems to get perfect exposures everytime. It is also nice that all the major controls are on the outside of the camera, real dials, nice. The only downside is the slow recycle for the internal flash. This would probably be cured with and external flash, but that would make the camera less handy.

I use this for everyday carry creative snapshots and really love it. Sure there is a newer version on the horizon (X100F?) but if you get this one on sale you really can't go wrong. Keep in mind it is fixed focal length so it forces you move and work on composition. I prefer to shoot with this in RAW+JPEG with a B&W(R) "filter" applied along with some minor adjustments to the highs and lows all in camera. Gives me a great looking JPG and if I prefer the look of the color I can edit the RAW file. Highly recommended.

This camera was a perfect addition to my travel bag. I recently traveled internationally, so I charged via USB, which was great to have as an option. It was a breeze to carry around and the battery last much longer than I was expecting (based on reviews). I liked the (effective) 35mm fixed lens and there were only a few times I wished I had a wider lens. The images were outstanding and bring forward so much detail. The details is so great that Lightroom really "chugs" as it processes the raw files (note: while the in-camera film simulation modes are great, Lightroom/Adobe Camera Raw offers them now so I'm staying with raw to have flexibility of color and b&w). Minor complaints - when using autoISO, the minimum shutter speed requires attention as it seems to set the shutter speed too low to try to maintain lower ISO. I tolerate noise of motion blur, and the camera offers options to tweak the autoISO setting so I expect to get this issue worked out. The second minor issue is that the LCD screen will show you a picture that looks overexposured if you review the picture (chimping). I learned to trust the camera and know that it will be alright once it is processed it. I determined it was just the auto light adjustment making the photo looked washed out. Beyond those minor issues, it's a pleasure to shoot with. As for the microphone that came with the package, it's sitting on my shelf in the box waiting for me to throw it away. I really wish we could pick a sensible package based on our needs, but that is an Adorama "issue" and not anything to do with the camera. Overall, I'm one of the many pleased x100t owners and highly recommend this if you are comfortable with exposure and like to tinker with settings.

Incredibly well designed. Comprehensive menus and excellent optical quality. A wide range of options from a totally automatic to a full manual camera. It's become a daily companion. I added the tele-converter and I was equally as impressed with the quality.

It's the best compact camera for travel with lot of features. The images are impressively sharp and good quality . Only issue is it's had the fixed prime lense and no optical zoom but can capture good shots by moving around . I do recommend this camera if the price is not an issue .

Love the amount of manual control via the intuitive dials for aperture and shutter speed. The film simulation is really quality, as well- oh, Velvia, how I missed you! The manual focus ring responds pretty much as you'd expect, if you've used manual focus on a classic film SLR camera. Holding the camera is quite impressive as well- it feels solid, shoots quality photos, but is not nearly as heavy and cumbersome as a DSLR. If you like shooting with a fixed focal length wide/normal-ish lens, and don't *need* a DSLR but love having manual controls, look no further- this is your camera. I'm using it for hikes, travel, and photos of my artwork for my website, and it's completely adequate for that.

It feels like there is just a never-ending list of features this camera has. Scrolling through the set up menus I couldn't believe all the things this little camera does.

The FUJIFILM X100T is a premium rangefinder-style digital camera specially developed for photographers who want superior image quality, camera performance, and functionality in a compact and vintage design. The X100T is equipped with a powerful 16.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, along with the EXR Processor II and its Fujinon 23mm f/2 fixed wide-angle lens, to deliver outstanding and high-resolution image quality. Its advanced optical hybrid viewfinder comes with an electronic rangefinder, which gives you the feel of shooting with a classic film camera while enjoying a Natural Life View shooting display, significantly reduced display lag times and automatic brightness controls.
The X100T also features FUJIFILM’s new “Classic Chrome” film simulation that gives your images color filters to achieve classic, muted, and deep-colored photos, mimicking the dramatic results of original rangefinder cameras in the early 1930s through the 1970s. Along with an Intelligent Hybrid AF and a range of modern controls—including remote camera setting adjustment and shooting via Wi-Fi—the X100T allows quick and convenient composition and shooting. It’s truly one of the best and most reliable digital cameras out there for those who are into vintage cameras and exceptional image output.
The X100T has an integrated large APS-C-sized CMOS II image sensor that offers as much as 16.3 megapixels for high-resolution photos. FUJIFILM’s unique X-trans pixel array helps keep your photos sharp and vivid while reducing the need for an optical low-pass filter, which mildly blurs patchy, denim-like areas to reduce image ripples (moiré) and aliasing.
The EXR Processor II helps improve image quality further by automatically correcting lens aberrations and diffraction blur, as well as reducing noise from high ISOs, to help create cleaner, more accurate images. Aside from improving the X100T’s performance when shooting in low-light situations, the EXR Processor II effectively shortens the camera’s start-up time to only 0.5 second, the shutter lag to just 0.01 second, and the shooting interval time to only 0.5 second, allowing the camera to shoot continuously up to 6 frames per second, or up to 25 consecutive full-resolution JPEGs.
For the first time ever, you can enjoy highly accurate manual focusing with an optical viewfinder. The simultaneous display of the EVF area on the screen of the optical viewfinder allows accurate focusing in real time.
All you need to do is to turn the focus ring and bring the subject in the EVF area into focus, just like focusing with a rangefinder. Or, select Focus Peaking and Digital Split Image™ and the magnification of the focus area can be changed.
The FUJIFILM X100T is built with an improved advanced hybrid viewfinder with an electronic rangefinder that allows the user to focus as if an actual vintage mechanical rangefinder is used. Simply switch the viewfinder lever to the left (from optical viewfinder mode) to start using the electronic rangefinder mode. There are also different modes like the Focus Peak Highlight and Digital Split Image to change the magnification of your chosen subject.
The frame coverage in the X100T is significantly better than its predecessor, the X100S, by 2%. Thanks to the electronic rangefinder’s real-time parallax correction, more accurate image composition is possible. This means you won’t have to reframe your shot every time you change your focus. The Shooting Effect Reflection settings within the viewfinder also make it easier to compose your shots with different camera effects, such as on Film Simulation Mode.
The use of traditional dials allows users to see camera settings at a glance, even when the camera is turned off. Settings can be made so you're ready to shoot according to lighting conditions, which enhances the camera's instinctive functionality. Your conversation with the FUJIFILM X100T starts the moment you pick it up.
The value of a photographic image is not only determined by resolution or composition, expressions and feelings are also important. Classic Chrome reproduces colors from the film genre, with rich tones reminiscent of the old reversal era.
The X100T supports full HD video recording with resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080p at 60 frames per second—twice as much as those of traditional film recorders—for smoother movement of subjects and scenery. Its 36Mbps high bit-rate when shooting video gives you greater clarity that’s ideal for viewing on HDTVs, which can be showcased via the mini built-in HDMI out. And unlike many video recording devices, the X100T allows manual focusing, white balance, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO adjustments, as well as Live View on the optical viewfinder while you’re shooting.
Because FUJIFILM is known for its traditional film-based photography, the X100T has integrated optional Film Simulation modes to give your videos a more classic finish (muted tones and deep color reproduction) similar to that of old-fashioned slide films. Improve the quality of your movies by using the optional external microphone for recording high-quality sound. Thanks to the FUJIFILM X100T, making cinema-quality movies is possible with just a small and compact rangefinder-style camera.
