I was looking for a tripod I could pack up for hikes and nature photography, and be work in the studio. It is sturdy, and easily supports my Sony kit and 200-600 lens. The included spike feet are helpful when the terrain calls. It?s light enough to carry for a day out. I definitely recommend the Benro Travel Angel tripod.

Really happy with this tripod and head. Very positive and responsive mechanisms. More rigid than I expected, even with long, relatively heavy lenses. Drag adjustment works well. I don’t really see how you could do better with this class of tripod at this price.

This tripod is a joy to use. It is large and substantial enough to offer a stable platform and light enough to carry around. This is not a small little travel tripod, but rather a light full size tripod. The build quality is excellent and the head is a joy to use. Worth every penny. I think that a quality tripod is perhaps as important as a quality camera to get high quality long exposure night photographs -- and this tripod worked flawlessly in horrible weather conditions. It is wonderfully stiff and holds up well in windy conditions. My only piece of advice to buyers is to put thread-lock on the rubber feet and lock them into place BEFORE you lose them on a trip. It is not of question of if, but rather, when they fall off and you lose one. No big deal -- I ordered replacements (which were not available at Adorama according to the manufacturer -- but maybe Adorama could change that?) Buy this tripod without hesitation. You will love it. Oh, it also comes with a wooden handle to put on the mono-pod to turn it into a cane, which really cracked me up. May come in handy at my advancing age.

Easy to set up. Packs nicely in a suit case. Can be converted to a monopod. Knobs work nicely to set camera in position. Supports the weight of a semi-pro camera like a D800 with a vertical grip and a heavy lens. Buy with confidence.

The Travel angel 9X carbon fiber series 2 with twist lock legs and V1 ball head exceeded my expectations. This tripod is so light and packable. I love the quick release for my spotting scope. I can pop it on and off within a few seconds and be on my way. I researched quite a few brands of tripods and compared them to each other and also to my friend's Gitzo and was pleasantly surprised that they were virtually identical and 1/3rd the price. The V1 ball head is fantastic! I'm glad I spent the extra few dollars for the V1. I love the adjustments and the ease of using it. Well done Benro!!!!
