I'm scratching my head! I have the same issue as the person who posted the review, "Cheap Date!" I engaged in a chat with Rowena about how to approach the issue. Rowena told me it would be $500 to repair for a "34 screen. To buy a new monitor on the LG site, it is $299! Not sure how that math or recommendation even works. After I shared that, this is the response I received, "we understand sir , and we respect your decision, It has been a pleasure assisting you today. If you have further question or concern, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Thank you for choosing LG Electronics and have a great day!" Really! Waste of my time!

I order this monitor on 4/23/25 and it sat in "awaiting shipping" status for a month even though I was supposed to received it on 4/29/25. I was also charged despite never receiving the product even though I thought most manufacturing companies operated on FBO and are not supposed to charge the customer until the product has been shipped. Customer service gave me a run around saying that the warehouse was having issues, so I attempted to cancel two weeks after I had placed the order. Over the course of the next two weeks, I continued to get the run around by customer service saying during my first call that it would take 3-5 business days to cancel the order and receive my refund and then on my 2nd call they said it would take 7-10 business days the second time I called and then on the 3rd time they still couldn't cancel it. So I eventually had to call my credit card company and mark the charge as a scam to get refunded. This is unacceptable and should be reported to the FTC.

This monitor is very much not worth the price. I just barely tapped the side of mine while i was cleaning my desk one day. Turned on the monitor and it slowly died in front of me. Electronics have absolutely no business being that fragile for that price. Owned it for 3 months before it wouldn't turn on. The price of the repair is the cost of an entirely new monitor. Never buying LG again.

Honestly, after all of the bad reviews I was hesitant to pull the trigger on this purchase. But after reviewing them all, it seemed to do more with the customer service or shipping times. There were a few with DOA issues, but not an issue here. It is a fantastic monitor with a lot of abilities to customize the color, brightness, black stabilizer, etc. My main intent for this monitor is to use as a work from home display as well as some school work. So far it has been amazing for both. Definitely love the IPS panel, colors are crisp and clear. When I contacted LG customer service they were incredible. Delivery also 10/10 as it was delivered as was stated by the estimated delivery date pre-purchase. Good buy, especially on sale at $250. If you're not purchasing this only to be used for gaming, but mainly for work/school, this is a no-brainer. There is no need for anything above 60hz unless you're only aiming to game.

working with macbook pro retina mid 2014 via thunderbolt and via hdmi.. at native resolution.. no issues !!! love it.. its what my macbook needed.. the weight is great, using it with NB North Bayou Monitor Mount,Fits 4.4 to 19.8lbs Computer Monitors, Adjustable Stand with Tilt Rotation Swivel Function, Desk Mount F80.. no issues.. the curvature is minimal and is just right for CAD work just enough to spot objects out of peripheral vision with out massive head turning and - no issues so far. Office work is ideal, I stacked three word docs side by side for edits, then with PDFs and later with spreadsheets.. ideal for spreadsheets with ALOT of tabs.. as the width unhides tabs.. text and graphics are good.. no issues with pixelation or bluring of text. the IPS handles it well. all in all. i did alot of research for applications and have no regrets.. typical work involves, docs, spreadsheets, CAD and GIS work.. in spare time graphics editing..

I bought this monitor to replace another for my primary "work from home" set-up where I don't necessarily have room to mount two monitors. This has been excellent in the short time I've used it and is a great productivity monitor. I can't speak to gaming or anything of that nature, but I'm extra productive with it otherwise!

I bought this monitor 1 month ago for my home office and its great! Especially with Windows 11 and the multi-screen option within one window makes this monitor a dream. Since I mostly use this monitor for work (emails/MSOffice etc) I was worried the curve would be weird, but its actually really nice. Plus I got it on sale at nearly 50% off - win win! The only negative I can think of is that I wish it had was USB-C connection for my laptop. Not a dealbreaker though, I just have to run it through my adapter.

I bought this a few weeks ago and LOVE it. I was using dual monitors and having to look at 2 screens especially on spreadsheets was difficult. This monitor takes care of that issue and it's great for people with not so great eyes like mine. We actually convinced a client to purchase them as well.

I ordered this product and never received an email or anything with an order number or confirmation. They charged me and I never received the product. When I contacted support they said they couldn't help me because I didn't have an order number. So I had to go through my bank and report it as a scam because I never received a product and couldn't get any help from these people.

I bought two of these and had to fight my son and wife to keep even one of them! They are fantastic and just one of the serves well for a dual screen. Set up was easy and is so much less cluttered that two separate screens.

After several years using a dual monitor setup with different sized screens I decided to upgrade, and because 27" screen prices have dropped dramatically in recent years, had originally considered moving to a three 27" monitor set up. However, am incredibly happy I purchased the LG 34" UltraWide instead, because it has all the additional screen space without the hassle associated with daisy-chaining monitors. I was concerned that 34" would seem small compared to the combined area of my old 27" + 24" monitors, but due to the LG's 3440x1440 resolution just the opposite is true, and it at least feels like I have much more room than before. Also, the preset app window configurations menu allows me to quickly and easily arrange my windows EXACTLY how I want them for any particular situation - which is awesome. Finally, the picture quality is stunning for movies and gaming and crisp/clean when viewing documents/text whether connected via HDMI or DisplayPort. Overall, an incredible amount of bang for your buck and bigger than you're envisioning.

I bought this monitor as a switch from two 24" to an ultrawide and I absolutely love it. The only gripe I have is there's on single dead pixel on the screen but it is barely ever noticeable.

Read the reviews and it seems people either love it, or receive a damaged unit and have to deal with support and hate it. Unfortunately, I played the odds and received a damaged unit (box looked great and undamaged though). Confusing support directions, one saying, "this product is not valid for return" and "shipping label will be printed for return". Ultimately just trying to get my method of payment refunded at this point. As I expressed to both phone representative and SMS representative "Sarah", I will no longer be purchasing LG products or recommending purchasing LG products from the website moving forward. Only gave two stars because if the product was undamaged, it looked like it would have been a great display to use. And yes, I have already tried reaching out to the social media support POC and they just said to call the (844) support number. I guess that is kind of customer engagement.

Do not but anything from this company. They have no support and do not respond to phone calls or emails. Orders take weeks to arrive if at all and you cant even talk with someone to find out if or when your product will ship. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

This screen is great- I do think its resolution could be improved. The curved shape is ergonomically appealing, and its width is useful for opening many tabs at once.
