Being a novice I found the assembly and set up to be straight forward and not complicated. The quality and performance appears to be great so far. I highly recommend.

The product was definitely worth the money. Some things could have been made better though. The lenses sometimes don't work together too well. The counter-weight could also have been made better so as to stay where you put it on the metal rod better. Some of the rotation of the telescope may be hindered because some of the gears may not connect all the way. Overall the telescope was a good price for its qualities.

Great compact little reflector for the price! The 4mm eyepiece and 3X Barlow are both a waste, and are probably confusing to the beginner. A 10mm eyepiece might be fine, but the 4mm is overkill, as well as the Barlow. With the 25mm eyepiece, the full moon takes up the whole field of view. I’ve ordered a 40mm eyepiece. The finder scope is very difficult to adjust - too wobbly. A beginner might have problems using this scope. I’ve got some experience and know how to adapt the scope to my purposes.

Great value for the price range. it is not for the pro star gazer but I nice step up for a starter scope. A little bit more money than some of the other starter scopes but worth it.
