Excelent soft box I got two of them and have been very pleased with how they are performing. I have taken them on location and they are easy to set up and look great! I highly recommend getting the inside dish attachment. Really helps to create even light.

Buy it you’ll love it!
Excellent strip box for overhead hair light for two people. Can be used as an accent side light or if you purchase two of them for background lights. Easy to set up and break down to travel with. Expensive but worth it because it should last a long time. Also pick up the deflector for an even light spread. Wescott makes a quality product...

Great light but has a design flaw
Produces the great light I was hoping for out of this stripbox, however, there is a huge design flaw. The locking ring doesn't lock. Luckily, for the most part stays open without it locking. I also bought the XXL octa rapidbox and the locking ring on that one locks, but doesn't unlock. Very frustrating that Westcott would put out these items with these flaws. Why is there no simple lock and release like most umbrellas? Unfortunate, especially because the rapidbox's do produce really nice light.

I got 2 strips and the octagon. These go up easy and provide what you need without all the hassle. I use them with the flashpoint li-ion zoom speedlights. Makes the whole experience amazing. Thanks Adorama

Well worth the money
Very easy set-up. Saves a lot of time compared to regular soft boxes with cumbersome and easily lost rods. Feels solid, and gives a nice portrait light. Money well spent.

Great Product
I use this product many times a week for head-shot portraits that I do for a health care provider.
It's easy to transport, setup and use.
Portability is it's greatest advantage.
I would recommend this product to any portrait photographer who is on the go.

Great Hair Light and Fill Light
A terrific addition to using the RB 26" Octa. Essential for creating a gorgeous hair light or fill light as well as providing those nice, long reflections in product photography (think wine bottle or flower vase). The addition of the optional deflector plate adds beauty dish functionality as well as eliminating any hotspots.
