Both the AC-E6N + DR-E6 | Canon AC Adaptor + DC Coupler are working perfectly w/ my EOS R. I've been live-streaming a lot of ceremonies using these items w/ an Elgato 4K. For an example, go to the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber Facebook page. I also use a Rode USB Mic.

I needed a way to plug my Canon 7D Mark II into the wall to use as a webcam, and this worked. It took a minute to find the little rubber flap by the battery compartment where the cable goes, but once I did that it worked like a charm.

Works beautifully! Got this because the battery life on my Canon EOS Rp is shorter as it’s a mirrorless camera. I do astrophotography and my sessions would frequently get interrupted by a dead battery. This solved my problem. I can take pictures through the night and am now only limited by the capacity of my portable power station. It’s a bit expensive but I wanted to get an OEM part since I’ve invested so much in my equipment already and didn’t want to take any chances.

I use the AC adapter to power my Canon T8i for microphotography and table-top macrophotography. For these uses, it is more convenient than a battery.

Yes, this is significantly more expensive (~3x) than off-brand AC adapters, but it's Canon-made, and Canon-backed. After frying an out-of-warranty Lumix board while using an off-brand AC adapter (may not have been the ultimate cause, but I'm not risking my return to Canon), I'm never going to make that mistake again, especially not with my brand-new RP! Don't risk your investment with cheap power!

I will use the adapter to support extended use during astrophotography. All the components arrived in great shape, were assembled and functioned well. I plan to use them with an inverter connected to my vehicle when doing extended exposures for stacking, especially in cold weather.

I love this adapter. Since I own two Canon Rebel T7i's I needed to order an additional Ac adapter so I don't have to worry about changing batteries or a camera just shutting don on me while I'm in the middle of a live podcast switching between two cameras. Basically. I love them both and my Canon Rebel T7I's

Works as expected! I am able to use my Canon T7i as a webcam for streaming or meeting without worrying about the battery life. Naturally, this is one of two components you need to make it work, which is a little annoying. Regardless, it works great for getting power to my camera and It has a pretty long cord making it suitable for a variety of situations.

I needed the AC adaptor for my Canon t6I camera and I was pleasantly surprised to see competitive pricing on the Canon website. The part was available (it was only backordered elsewhere and it arrived in a few days. I would have expected Canon’s prices to be higher than the competition, so you can be sure it will be the first place I look in the future....

You need DC coupler Dr-e6 along with this to use. No one has the coupler including Canon USA! And you can’t backorder it! Seriously awful supply line!
