Some of the products are not needed but thats just in my opinion somebody else could have use for all the products. But it was a great deal in the long run.

The Canon SL2 is one of the smallest DSLR available from the Canon line. It works very similarly to other Canon DSLR but in a smaller package. Canon SL2 is a perfect camera for beginner and or for photographers who wanted to travel light. The video capture is simple and intuitive; the duo auto focus feature is fast and accurate, simply point to the subject on the LCD and the camera will automatically focuses.

Not sure, three or four stars? On the plus side it's a great little camera for the money. It does everything pretty well, but it's not a great camera, for the money you wouldn't expect it to be. I bought it to be an inexpensive, light weight back-up body and I think it's great in that roll or when you want to minimize what you carry without .going to a mirrorless and their very limited battery life. Things I like: 1 The dual pixel focus system is really good, when it locks on it doesn't let go. 2) Battery life when using the optical finder is very good but it goes go down rapidly if you use the screen to view and focus a lot.. 3) Shutter speed is decent to good. 3) Size & weight. Excellent! 4) Wireless downloads, are pretty quick, and easy to sort out. What's not so great: 1) Dynamic range is not as good as my Pentax or Sony. 2) Build, it's all there but it feels cheap (it is?) and it's not moisture resistant..3) Viewfinder is a little hard to read in some lights. But, all and all it is well worth the money.

The Canon EOS Rebel has been perfect to capture life here at Platinum Group. Having it all come as a kit was so helpful, as it had everything we need for social posts, videos, and portraits of our team and clients.

Since purchasing I've spent a lot of time learning so much of the fantastic technology in this DSLR. 1st, Canon makes outstanding cameras. 2nd, the auto-focus features really assist newbies like me. 3rd, the photos taken are absolutely amazing. All those nice pics I've been taking with my iPhone 7+, well, are a lot less than what they could be. Gorgeous sunsets, family pics, snow scenes, vaycay treasured remembrances. Thanks too, to Adorama for making the purchase so easy/friendly, and the lowest price found anywhere. Lastly, I love the white camera -- just cause it is unique!

I purchased this camera a couple of weeks ago for travel photography. I currently use a 70D which is very nice, but the majority of features that I use is on the SL2. If I need to do something specialized I still have my 70D. I can use all my lens on either camera and the SL2 for the price is feature packed and has a quality feel and is light and smaller than the 70D making it a great travel and walk around camera.

This was an upgrade purchase for a Canon T2i. Very happy with the LCD screen and more sophisticated functions the SL2 offers. All of my previous EF and EF-S lens are compatible with the new body.

Bought this camera to go on a photo trip to Santa Fe and Taos New Mexico. This camera was better and more clear then I ever expected it to be. Love the white color. I was able to take some incredible night shots and beautiful sunsets. So glad that I purchased my Canon. It made the trip complete

I have other DSLR cameras (5D Mark II & 5D Mark IV, but I wanted something smaller and lighter to take on trips requiring air travel due to the size and weight restrictions for carry-on baggage. However, I wanted something that would still take great photos. The SL2 has not disappointed me. It has a great sensor (I have heard that it has the same sensor as the 80D), DIGIC 7 image processor, tilt screen, dual-pixel autofocus in live view, and can use both EF and EF-S lenses. Although it "only" has 9 autofocus points when using the optical viewfinder, I have not found this to be restrictive because I was used to that on my 5D Mark II, and I usually only use center point focusing when I'm using the viewfinder anyway. There are helpful screens for "newbies," or you can opt to change the info screens to be more advanced. And this camera is small and light! Wow! Compared to most DSLR's this thing is tiny, yet has an APS-C sensor and produces great images. The creative and scene modes are fun (and useful) as well. I highly recommend this camera if you want something small and light and/or if you want a very high-performing yet surprisingly inexpensive camera.

I am a Videographer and I purchased the SL2 for the sole purpose of shooting video. It is a great camera and is nice and compact. It’s hard to beat for the money. Only drawback is lackluster low light performance when shooting video. I own a t6i as well and expected the sl2 would perform better than the t6i in low light. If anything the t6i is a little better. One the contrary, the dual pixel autofocus it sweeeeeet!!!

Its an amazing camera. So many features. Specially if youre A beginner this is the right camera for you because every time you change a setting it will tell you what it does. My favorite part is the bluetooth. Of course we want to share the pictures we take!!! Right after you take the photo, you can immediately get it on your phone by the Canon app I have on my iPhone. Its an amazing tool. The lens are great as well and I recommend the white one because it’s pleasing to eyes! Its so beautiful and This is my first camera which I bought it for myself on World Photography day and its the best gift I ever bought myself! Its my baby honestly! ?? Get one for yourself as well! Its very easy going, has all the directions/instructions you need to get very nice photos and capture the moments that matter to you the most! And share!! Happy photographing!!! ??

Camera gets 5 stars, it's wonderful in every way. The new software is -3 stars, it's so terribly bad. I bought this as an upgrade from the Rebel SL1 and I am very happy with it. It's been upgraded in almost every way. The articulated screen is, to me, an incredibly useful feature. The live view AF is amazing and must be experienced to believe, it tracks faces so well. And of course the camera remains the lightest and smallest DSLR, the primary reason I love it. My only quibble with the camera is the addition of the "display" button on the top deck. I preferred the old arrangement where the "info" button on the back of the body did double duty. The "display" button is poorly placed so it's hard to reach and makes it harder to reliably locate the adjacent ISO button. As great as the camera is, the software isn't. As much of an upgrade as the camera is over the SL1, the software is a bigger downgrade. I've been using EOS DSLRs since the D30 and through all that time I've been using one program, EOS Utility, to download photos from ALL my EOS DLSRs. Not any more. Now I have to use one of two different EOS utilities, one for my older camera, one for the newer camera. Likewise two versions of Digital Photo Professional. Instead of doing the right thing and making new versions of these essential programs that work with all cameras, Canon decided to make our lives less easy. Also, Canon has disabled Windows Autoplay functionality with this camera. It just doesn't work. You have to run a sloppy kludge app at startup to enable Canon's not very good replacement for Windows Autoplay. There's no good reason for this and it's just bad. On top of all that, the new software made it so my computer no longer recognizes my Powershot camera, so now I have to use a card reader to get the photos off of it at all. All in all, while I'm using the camera I love the SL2. But I often regret purchasing it when it comes to putting the photos on the computer.

I did a lot of research before I decided on this camera. Right before my final decision a friend needed my help to record his gig. I used his Nikon 3400. That was a fine camera too but auto focus was hunting a lot and when you record with the camera for a long period of time the weight becomes an issue. Canon Rebel SL2 exceeded my expectations on both of these. It great little camera with everything a beginner or maybe even a semi-pro may need.

This camera has everything a hobbyist or semi-pro photographer needs. It has the capabilities of shooting low or high compression Jpeg, Raw, and a few lower resolution settings. If you don't plan on doing very much editing, definitely use the High Res Jpeg setting. (I used Raw for a vacation and shot 45 Gigs in 1200 pictures). The quality of this camera is excellent. Really wonderful shots, fast auto-focus, and rather you're shooting in a Priority Mode, Manual, or Auto, this camera is going to help you make excellent shots all the time. I love it.

I’m really impressed with this camera! I purchased the white camera with the kit lens and also the 50mm 1.8. Both are excellent on this camera. Focusing is relatively fast and accurate, wish there were more focusing points but the 9 seem to do pretty good. The image color straight from camera is gorgeous! I’m happy with this purchase.

I have come back to photography after about a three year absence due to 4 surgeries. I am supposed to walk every day and we have a local lake that gives the opportunity to get my exercise in and do a bit of photography with a light camera. I looked at doing a mirror less, but I really liked this when I picked it up. I could use my ef and ef-s lenses rather than buying new or getting an adapter. It’s very flexible and I’ve taken some good shots with it already. It also serves as a back-up to ...

Line up the shot you want in Live View with virtually no wait for the EOS Rebel SL2 camera to focus thanks to Dual Pixel CMOS AF which helps deliver the world’s fastest autofocusing speed at 0.03 sec.^ Equipped with phase-detection, it can quickly and accurately determine how far away a subject is and where the lens should focus, and offers fast, smooth and precise autofocus that stays locked onto your subject, even if they are in motion, for both photos and videos. Dual Pixel CMOS AF helps ensure your results are sharp, keeps the time it takes to lock focus onto your subject to a minimum and smoothly maintains focus where you want it.
