This mixer has ultra transparent preamps. The mixer is used in a bar/lounge environment and accommodates a wide variety of users (DJ's, singers, musicians, etc.) so the Yamaha "gain finder" feature is quite helpful. Originally it was acquired for the ability to use it with a tablet/ipad but the omni-outs gave us many features we didn't know we would be needing.
