Needs a little cleanup for chromatic aberration, more for vignette. Overall, excellent, even at f/1.8.

I can't tell you how often I use this lens, great for landscape/astro.

Only used it a few times but seems quite sharp for a cheaper lens. Should work well for landscape astrophotography which is the main purpose I bought it for.

This lens has good image quality and seems well built. It feels slightly large on a mirrorless camera and could be a little wider; but for the price, it's great.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this lens. It’s sharp and takes some amazing shots when paired with the Sony A7III

The price/performance ratio of this lens is impressive; extremely sharp, very low distortion, and chromatic aberrations are well-controlled (what there is can easily be removed with software). I don't consider the fact that it's not AF to be a disadvantage. This isn't the focal length I would use when aiming for blurrred backgrounds, but the bokeh looked pretty good in the couple of test shots I took.

I had been looking for a wide angle prime lens for some time and finally got this lens when it went on sale. I am very satisfied with it. Good wide open and gets better as you stop it down a bit. As a long time SLR and now DSLR user manual focus is not an issue for me. Contrast is a bit low but easily fixed in post processing. All in all a very good lens for the money. i have attached a few photos I took at a local park when I first got the lens.

I bought this lens for video. Specifically I was looking for a fast, lightweight, wide-angle that I could mount on an A7SII and fly it on a one-hand gimbal (Zhiyun Crane) in combination with an A7SII... this lens meets all the requirements. It has a long, very smooth focus throw which is perfect for manual focusing (especially when shooting wide open on a full frame sensor). Used in combination with Sony's clear image zoom this lens functions as 20-40mm, an excellent focal range for the type of run-and-gun video shooting that I do.

So far, the Rokinon 20mm lens has proved to be a good performer on my full frame DSLR. It's slightly soft wide open, but it sharpens up quickly and displays no bad behavior. It is surprisingly good optically for being such a fast piece of glass. While manual focus can slow down the task of photography, the camera's focus confirmation light works well. The only knock on the lens is that the 77mm filter size does vignette slightly unless a thin filter is used.
