Almost as good as it looks

Very pleased with condition and all paperwork and accessories included as boxed at the factory. Unfortunately, the flash does not respond to exposure adjustments made on the flash or by way of the camera control panel. After 47 years in the photography industry, I will find work-arounds, but I would rather not have to.

Best Flash I Have Ever Owned

This is the best flash I have ever owned, and I have owned flashes from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Minolta, Olympus, Sunpak, Metz, Nissin and Vivitar over the past several decades. It's also the best flash system--even better than Nikon's famous system which I thought better back in the film days. (Olympus' flash system is very good too, probably second to Fujifilm). The controls are easy and intuitive, the design is excellent, and the build quality is over-the-top like everything Fujifilm makes. Next I'm hoping that Fujfilm releases a radio-trigger version of this, and perhaps even compatible with Elinchrom transmitters--I can dream can't I? To make up for the lack of this feature, I'm currently using the Elinchrom EL-Skyport Universal Plus Set which will fire every EF-X500 that you attach an Elinchrom Skyport receiver to. Plus, you can also fire your Elinchrom strobes simultaneously. Finally, if Fujifilm would release a mini version of this flash with the exact same functions for the smaller X-Cameras, it would be fantastic. Highly Recommended.

A must have with my Fuji XT-2

I found trying to jerry rig a flash and make it work didnt cut it, bought this Fuji and have never looked back. Dont hesitate if you need a full featured flash and pick up the power pack along with it, makes things very easy.

I spoke with Fujifilm reps in New York, and they said this flash will ship mid-November, fyi. I'm really looking forward to trying Fujifilm's first serious flash!
