I’ve been using this Apllow diffuser for a few years now. I set the exposure comp to plus 1 or 2 stops depending on distance. Works great.

I use this for food photography in our brewpub and gives the soft light texture I need to really showcase our entrees. Easy to use and very affordable - highly recommend it!

This fit perfectly on my Vivitar pivot head flash unit. Never worry about it falling off. Makes a nice soft even light,removes harshness. Even improves bounce lighting. Flattens out, easy to keep in camera bag. Love it.

When bouncing the light off walls and ceilings is not an option, this micro sized soft box works very well. There are no hotspots, and the results are quite soft relative to the size of the diffuser. The Velcro fastener is opposite that of most flash diffusing attachments, but it only takes a few minutes to reverse them. It is a must for event photography, and as with most Westcott products, it is very good quality.

This product performs as expected. It is large enough to spread and soften the light. There are no significant hot spots. In addition, it is not so big that it becomes intimidating at either an event or a reception. The Velcro attachment is in reverse to most other modifiers for Speedlights, but that is an easy fix to switch them around.

I bought this for the times when I need some flash but can't bounce or when I don't have the time or space to set up off-camera flash. It softens the light just enough to avoid the "snapshot" look. It also works as a good diffuser for macro work. I found the included Velcro patches too small and weak to hold the Apollo, and they peeled off the flash as I removed the Apollo. Instead I replaced the Velcro on the Apollo and put an elastic Velcro strap on the flash. It works great now.

So it's not the easiest to attach but it does a great job of diffusing light if you are using an on-camera flash. It does the job I needed.

The Micro Apollo is easy to use and works great and offers a soft light to enhance your subject while on the go. It collapses down to nearly nothing and travels great and is always ready when you need it.

very difficult to attach to camera (as noted by other reviewers) and hold in place, softens only somewhat; doesn't do any better than a SBM light diffuser

This tiny softbox it's all you need to soften the harsh light of the flash, easy to install and remove. You can use it as a hair light in the studio also or to do a very soft fill outdoors. Buy it!!!
