Used Canon PIXMA TS702a Compact Wireless Inkjet Printer

Worst printer ever. Purchased this for the CD/DVD print feature and before I have even used it I can tell it's a piece of worthless plastic and circuits. For one thing, Canon's proprietary design software is substandard compared to the software Brand E makes. Canon's software offers limited templates and what it offers are not customizable. One cannot even purchase third party software to use with this crappy printer because the model is not recognized by any of the third major third party software makers. One of them offers variations based on the type of CD/DVD tray used -- but Canon designers are too lazy to provide even that little bit of information as to which tray is used. From now on I will stick with Brand E. Yeah, Brand E printers can be a little wonky, but they are better than anything Canon has to offer.

I recently bought a new TS-702a printer, and after printing about 20 pages, the paper got jammed. The screen displayed "Support Code 6000," indicating a paper jam. I followed the instructions on Canon's website, but the printer's light kept flashing, indicating that it still needed the jammed paper removed, even though there was none. Now, according to Canon's instructions, I have to get it repaired.

This printer I bought as a replacement for my i860 and my iP4200 which I had to retire because I could not get INK anymore. It has never let me down and I print a lot. So far, since May 2020, I have printed over 3000 pictures and uncounted amount of documents, not to forget 100's of CDs/DVDs.

So far it has printed and operated well. But I need a flashlight to see the display at a 90 degree angle. I have not tried to copy yet wondering by just observing how I will copy a single page attached to a magazine

When I think of printers I always imagine the wires and what a hassle it is to mess with and keep wires hidden. I just love that this Canon PIXMA TS702a is wireless and Bluetooth. Makes it so much easier to hookup and just print from your laptop or phone. Makes my life easier.

This printer is ideal for most printing needs. It's very easy to use and easy to set up. The ink lasts a good while and all prints are great quality. Definitely a great printer to have. I highly recommend.

I use my computer daily and having a printer is important because I'm always needing to print documents. This printer was one of the easiest and fastest set ups I have ever done with printer. There is several ways to install the software needed which is by using the CD included or even downloading the app. Once it's turned on and ready you can then link the printer to the device and it's ready to start printing. This whole set up probably took me about 20 minutes. The printer has a large paper capacity and can be adjusted to fit the paper size as needed. The printer prints fast but still prints quality work at the same time. I have been using this printer almost daily for the past 2 weeks and I still have 3 quarts of ink left! There are 4 different spots for the inks and when one is low it pops right out and the new one goes in its place and it's ready to start printing again. The one thing I was alittle confused about at first was where the paper can out of after it printed but after getting an error a few times I learned that the paper extender above the paper drawer needs to be pulled out before it can print. Once I figured that out I havent had a single issue with it!

This printer was easy to set up. Downloading the app on my phone made it even more simplified. It does seem a little bigger and bulkier than the previous printer I had. There are individual ink cartridges for each color. I think this is helpful based on your printing style. I did a test printing a photo on standard letter size paper (since i did not have photo paper and it printed beautifully. So far so good after a few uses and printing from a mobile device.

This printer is absolutely perfect for printing photos. printed 50 photos for a birthday party that was a friends child, and every photo was crisp, the color matched perfectly. I will definitely recommend this printer to any family or friends.

Installation was not as time consuming as I thought it would be. Thank you Cannon for the QR codes. It made it sooo much easier to install. The 2 laptops that we currently use have no cd-rom's, the codes made for each step helped tremendously. During installation the only thing that slowed me down was the cassette cover. I figure after a few more times of dealing with it I wont take so long to put it back on. The 1st print does take time and that is really no big deal because after that 1st every print after comes out quickly. None of my papers so far once printing is complete has smeared that is a good thing. I've researched a little on the cost of ink cartridges for this device and compared to my previous another brand printer Canon's is about $2 lower. The Pro's: Beautiful print jobs, Inexpensive ink cartridges, Fast prints, Easy installation, Lightweight, Not to noisey. The only major con I have with the Pixma TS702a is that it's very bulky. I believe the majority of the bulk comes from the paper output support. If the output would've been able to go through the rear tray that would save more space. But, that is a minor inconvenience. Also, you have to be very easy with this printer, your not gonna be able to force anything such as the paper tray back into the printer. Try not to bump it too hard either. My final con if the printer screen had a backlight it would be so much easier to read the directions on the screen. I found myself having to shine my phones light on the screen to see what I needed to see. There might be an option for backlight but as of now I haven't found it. All in all so far this printer does exactly what it claims to do and it is fast.

We had a PIXMA printer before & never had issues with it. Got this one & am just as happy. I like how much paper in can hold & I especially really like how easy it is to print practically anything from my phone & it instantly connects & prints in around 30 seconds. Setting up with Wi-Fi& cellphone was actually really easy & was able to use it shortly after I plugged it in.

I got this a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it especially for my small business and the fact I can now print my own stickers and not have to worry about ordering them offline. It?s just perfect and it Bluetooths right to my laptop or phone with no problems so that?s a big plus for me also. I would highly recommend it.

While I haven't used it long enough to judge ink usage, overall I find it satisfactory, The setup basically went smoothly, with 1 computer on wi-fi & the other on a USB cable. I just attempted to print a #10 envelope, without success. The online manual was no help in answering why the only thing that printed was part of the address where the return address should go. For simple, basic printing, this unit is fine.

The printer is pretty good. It is easy to set up, and I can print from my mobile device. You can do 2 sided prints too, which will save paper. The printout colors are pretty good quality too. Definitely not as good as an all in one printer. But good for printing what I need.

This is a perfect printer for home use . I do alot of volunteers work and I am always printing something. This is perfect when just a single copy or a large bunch of fliers. Very quick and the set up was also very easy

The Pixma TS702a has a very modern look and I love the black color. Setup was easy and the instructions were relatively easy to follow. Printing wirelessly is also very easy and straightforward, and the print quality is excellent for home use. I adore the paper capacity and how the actual printing process is fast. I definitely recommend it.

I had this printet for about a month now before I put this review. Overall, it was pretty nice and has great features. Print quality is great, very easy to setup and connect wirelessly. I definitely recommend it. One downside is that I wish it had a scanner.

I was pleased with this printer and all its capabilities! The set up with the WiFi was a bit frustrating. However once we got passed that the rest was an easy set up. The colors and pixel were fantastic!!! All in all this was a great purchase!

I work from home and have two kids still doing remote learning. We are always petitioning something from a wide range of devices. The PIXMA is amazing. It?s super easy to set up the printer and connect it to my home network. Everyone can print when they need without wires or having to go through my Windows computer. The printer starts printing almost immediately (10-15 seconds and the quality is great.

It?s quiet, it?s fast and it?s wireless! Great printer! This is a wonderful, high performing printer! It was out of the box and up and printing in about five minutes! I set up two iPhones and a computer, and both set-ups were super easy. You can easily use a QR code for the phones and you are given a URL for the computer. This printer includes a rear tray in addition to the tray in front. I found this to be super convenient. It was very easy to put in the ink, which was a plus. The included ink produced quality images and photos. You can print edible images as well, which sounds very cool, but I have yet to use that feature. It?s great for printing two sided images as well! I like that the default is automatically two-sided to save ink and paper. And it does this all in such a compact machine that has a very sleek look to it. This prints so quickly! It seems like this one is going to last quite a while. Great quality!

I had no issue setting up the printer and updating software on my pc. The printer puts out prints at a good pace. Still on the original ink, so that's been goo so far. I would easily recommend this to friends and family!

This is a great lightweight printer that fits anywhere. I place mine on my desk next to my pc. I plugged it in and it was ready to install. I installed it on my pc and on my cell. The whole installation process took less than 10min. Instructions were pretty easy to follow. What I found was easier. Was to first connect the printer to my wifi (this is done on the printer. After that it was easy to connect to my pc and cell phone. I printed out a menu and it worked flawlessly. I like how the paper goes in the bottom tray and it's not visible. Overall, this is a great easy to use printer.

The PIXMA TS702a wireless printer by Canon really stood up to its brand name, a brand that i have known about for years,they never disappoint. I love how easy and simple the setup was first of all. You dont have to be tech savvy to get this printer set up and ready to go. The printing time was super fast and the quality of the ink and print was excellent. I am definitely happy to have this printer as an addition to my home office. It came with all the ink you need to get going. I would definitely recommend this product.

This printer was easy to hook up and install on my laptop. The printing is very clear and vivid. I used matte photo paper and glossy and they both turned out really well. It does make a lot of noise but other than that I love it!

Pros and cons of this printer. Installation is tough and super tough if you have a mac. I almost gave up and I'm no quitter. However, the machine itself is quiet and quick. It does the task I need it to do.
