The V256 Vocoder Pedal offers a unique blend of features that allow you to robotize and harmonize your sound, creating a unique twist of creativity that sets your music apart. With the ability to adjust the vocoder from 8 to 256 bands, this pedal transports you back to the 80's while simultaneously propelling you into the future of sound.

The advanced processing "Reflex Tune" feature brings your vocals up to snuff with today's most popular pitch correction effect. The Blend feature sets the mix of dry vocal signal, while the Bands feature allows you to set the number of bands for the vocoder in most modes. The Tone feature adjusts the tonal quality of the effect, and the Gender Bender Formant shift corresponds roughly to the length of the vocal tract.

The Pitch feature controls the pitch of the internal synthesized voices in the first six modes, while the Mode Knob enables you to scroll through the 9 Modes. The Mic Gain Toggle Switch changes the sensitivity of the mic pre-amp, and the Phantom Power Toggle Switch supplies +40V to the microphone when using a condenser microphone.

The Preset Footswitch/LED loads a preset into the presently selected mode, and the Mic Bypass Footswitch/Status LED toggles between effect mode and bypass mode. The Mic Input XLR Jack allows you to connect your microphone directly to this input jack, and the INST Input 1/4" Jack can be used as the carrier signal for the vocoder effect in the VOCODER modes of the V256.

The Effect Output XLR Jack outputs the V256's effect, as well as the dry and bypassed vocals. The INST Output 1/4" Jack outputs a blend of the effected signal as well as the dry instrument signal or MIDI controlled internal synthesizer.
