Love the QL-1100. When I bought it and it did take a hot minute to figure it out. I am very pleased with this product. Hasn't skipped a beat. Clear print every time.

Can't get it to load properly on my computer, even though I have had techs remote in to try and fix it. Would prefer a refund. Much to expensive for the lack of work it does. You are better off just using a regular printer with 2 labels per page.

Great printer, but the labels are too overly high quality and I don't want to pay the premium for a short lived shipping label that only has a life need of 10 days. There needs to be a cheaper option for shipping needs.

This printer just shoots labels out. I use mostly for printing shipping labels. It is extremely easy to refill. Requires no ink which is great.

its a great printer overal the only issue ive had is when i use generic labes that i didnt buy from brother the machine doesnt know what it is so i had to mess with the ptouch edditor to get it to work other than that its awesome

I had been printing shipping labels on sticker paper, which would never line up to the top edge, so I had to cut them out of the middle of the paper. It was a pain and a waste. Now I press print and the QL-1100 is all like, "I got this" and shoots it out in two seconds. It was super easy for me to set it up. I have a Dell computer. I'm not technically savvy and it was a snap. I love, love, love this printer. I had been on the fence about buying a thermal printer, and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long.

This is my fourth Brother label printer, they are pretty awesome. Great for quick labels, barcodes print good, software is pretty easy to use. The P-Touch labels are really nice, the Thermal labels are good as well for packaging purposes. although if you shrink wrap, make sure you shrink before putting label on package, as label may get dark around the edges.

All my first impressions of this printer were great. I followed all the instructions as I unpacked and connected the printer up with my MacOS 11 laptop. I used the P-Touch editor that comes when downloading everything you would seemingly need to operate the printer. I printed my first few labels with the editor and they all came out pretty great except one that I had to crop down. I then was a little curious about the driver for the printer. I was thinking, "there's no way this prints without a driver, right?". Unfortunately, correct. It was so disappointing to realize this printer does not have a driver to connect with my Mac so I could easily print off labels more than one at a time. I originally really liked the printer, and if you're only printing a label here and there where you don't have multiple orders you want to ship at once, this is great. But, if you want a seamless process with a printer driver instead of a separate app, this isn't the label printer I would recommend.

The printer recognizes the start and end of each label so there's no waste as with other label printers. It's very fast a of course quiet. Need one? Buy this one with confidence.

I love my QL1100. It works flawless with my mac and didn't require any special software or drivers... it just works. Buy/sell/trade a lot of stuff online so I'm constantly shipping items (mostly smaller items and I also have an online store where I sell products for one of my brands. The QL1100 makes it so easy to print my shipping labels (I primarily use goshippo for buying labels, but it works with ebay and paypal labels too) and get my items out the door in a flash. It's reliable and fast, works within seconds of turning and prints labels very quickly (the automated cutting is a nice bonus too).

I’ve had different Brother printers for over 10 years, and overall I love them. Otherwise I wouldn’t keep buying them. I do have to say, however, that y’all ought to spend more time on the software... especially for the Mac platform. Macs are so nice because everything works and most software is intuitive and easy to use. Your software seems like it was built for Windows, but tweaked to get by on a Mac. It’d be nice, since so many businesses are using Apple now, if you’d get some Apple software designers to make the software flow smoothly and work without a lot of swearing!
