The adjustable length of the Bounce Focus Rod Arm gives you complete control over the position of your light source within the GrandBox Pro. This enables you to use it as a focusable reflector softbox, producing a precisely concentrated beam of light that can be positioned to create a broad spread of light or any effect in between.

By sliding the rod along the axis through the GrandBox, you can explore a range of user-controlled lighting possibilities, each perfectly modified by the focus of illumination. Sharply focused light results in harder shadows, more highlights, and higher contrast, while unfocused light creates a softer, broader wash of spread with gentler contrast and shadows.

The rod system plate replaces the 144mm mount adapter ring on the small rear opening of the GrandBox Pro 16. The mount adapter then moves to fit on the flashhead cage, acting as the mate for the monolight or strobe head. The 144mm adapter rings are compatible with a variety of strobe brands, making this system versatile enough to work with almost any existing flash using the appropriate adapter.

Safety is a priority with the Glow GrandBox Zoom-In Bounce Rod. An incorporated sliding balance pole counteracts imbalance, ensuring the stability of the GrandBox and the Bounce Focus Rod assembly. Industry standard 5/8" studs cap the light mount end of the rods, while two closed rings on the other end allow for the attachment of optional counterweight sandbags for added security.
