Works wells for UV, No! vignetting from slim designed polarized filter. I recently added a lense "hat" sleeve for "bump" protection.

This item is an excellent filter that also protects the surface of the camera lens. It is a smart investment for taking care of camera lenses.

I needed a basic UV filter to help protect my EF-S 18-135mm lens. This Canon UV filter does just that. It's nothing special and cheaper than other alternatives like tiffen, B&W, etc. It's just glass without the "special coating" that other companies claim to have. For the price I got it for, its the best way to keep your front lens scratch free. Canon makes quality parts!

I primarily use these filters to protect my lens. When I opened my case the other day, the filter and lens cap were both broken. I assume that the camera case was dropped. I immediately ordered one from this site, and was pleased by [...] the quality of the product. My lens is protected once more.

I needed protection for my new canon 70-200L lens. Adorama always has better prices than local camera stores and it is Canon brand

Im using this to protect my lens as well as Filter UV rays. I could not believe that the filter was from Canon as advertised. I figured it was a look alike or from the black market. This was the real MoCoy.

I looked and I looked here and on the web, and this is easily the best deal in name brand filters I could find. I bought them mainly for lens protection for my Mamiya lenses. Fine quality - as you would expect from Canon. I've bought several, will by more.

These filters are used by many photographers to protect the front element of their lens from abrasions, dust, and moisture. They also have a very subtle warming effect, which can be useful to counter the "cool" colors you sometimes get in bright sun or in shade. They're available in sizes to fit most EF lenses.
