This ND filter kit does exactly what it is supposed to do. It cuts the amount of light entering your camera so that you can shoot with wide apertures and/or slow shutter speeds in bright conditions. There is a 2, 3 and 4 stop filter in the box. They stack nicely. The case is perfectly adequate. I have already used this filter kit several times and am very pleased so far.

Very happy with the quality of the filters and having the option of stacking for the desired effect helps. Bonus is having additional space in case for polarizer. Well worth the price.

It's a great package to learn the dynamics of what your SLR can do. A good prep for more advanced acquisitions later - gives a good exercise in the range of your camera and yourself.

I recently photographed moving water in bright sun and wanted to catch the movement. I stacked all 3 filters and was able to get the results I wanted.

I had the chance to play around with the filters this weekend and have to say I'm quite happy with the quality for the money. They had no issues screwing on to my lens or other filter on my lens (UV filter). I had no white balance issues with the ND filters on, they did great to take down the light stops they were designed to and I didn't lose photo quality, sharpness etc when viewed even at 100%. Did photos with and without the ND lens and found them quite helpful while at a car show in the bright sun this past weekend. They will work well for me when needed, I believe it's a better answer than a variable to retain quality in the photos and gives me options through stacking the filters for anything I'll need.

I an new to DSLR Photography. I wanted to get some nice flowing water shots. I can do it now with these ND filters. I only used them on 1 all day photo shoot. They work quite nicely.

I bought this set of ND filters to use in landscape photography to show movement in the scene, and also hide things I didn't want in my scene through the use of long exposures. My first choice was the Lee Big Stopper, but as these were on back order I decided to try the Tiffen set. When combined, I could achieve up to 9 stops. I was disappointed that I didn't fully understand the vignetting problem when stacking filters though. Other than a polarizing filter, I've never used screw in filters before for anything other than protecting my lens. For years I've only used the square ND Grad filters in my Lee holder. When I saw the word "vignetting", I "assumed" it meant darkening in the corners, not physically being able to see the filters in the corners when stacking them. Yeah, I know... Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of the tiffen filters. The only complaint I have is the flimsy pouch they come in. I will definately be placing these filters in something more protective.

Just what I was looking for, and an unbeatable price for the brand. The case is not as air/dust tight as I would like, but did provide a 4th space to put my polarizer in.

Very handy for stopping down lens/camera for increased motion activity & cutting brightness down in daytime shots!

Excellent quality and value
By Dave B.
Excellent filters and good value for money. Happy with the variations in contrast and perspectives. Reputational value.
Because capturing the perfect shot requires precision and control, the 77mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit by Tiffen is an essential tool for both digital SLR and video cameras. This high-quality filter kit is designed to reduce the amount of light that enters your lens, providing you with the ability to use a wider aperture and slower shutter speed. This results in a shallower depth of field and a more dramatic effect in your photographs or videos.
Crafted by Tiffen, a reputable brand known for its durable and effective photography equipment, this versatile filter kit is compatible with a variety of 77mm lenses. Whether you're shooting a serene landscape or a bustling cityscape, these filters can help you achieve up to 9 stops, giving you the flexibility to create stunning visuals in different lighting conditions.
The kit includes a set of neutral density filters that are easy to use, even for beginners. However, please note that stacking multiple filters may result in vignetting, which is the appearance of the filters in the corners of the image.
Despite the minor issue of vignetting, users have praised the performance of these Tiffen filters. However, some users have expressed dissatisfaction with the pouch provided, suggesting that a more protective case may be needed for safe storage.
In conclusion, the 77mm Digital Neutral Density Filter Kit by Tiffen is a valuable addition to any photographer's toolkit, offering high-quality, versatility, and effectiveness in controlling light exposure.
