Solid quality with a few quirks

I replaced a pair of 27" monitors with one of these and overall I'm happy but there definitely are some tradeoffs if you are not already used to an ultrawide monitor. Good: - Fits my workspace much better than two 27" monitors. Those pretty much took over my whole desk, this fits nicely while still giving lots of screen to work with. - EXCELLENT for video editing. Seriously if you do any type of work that involves a horizontal timeline, you will appreciate the width. - Great color accuracy, which is important to me because I also do photo editing for print and I need to know my images will come out accurately. - Very good picture quality, it's not 4k but if you are not using as a TV or doing a lot of high-end gaming, 1440p is going to get the job done. - Love that it has USB-C input with power delivery for my macbook. - The little control wheel is a nice touch, but I did change the button assignments. Not so good: - Productivity - if you do a lot of screen sharing (such as on video calls) or screen capturing with a program like OBS, this screen resolution can be annoying. It's so wide that sharing the whole screen makes it come out very squished for those on the other end, and it can be hard to find a good resolution for screen captures. However it's not un-usable, and usually for video conferencing you can choose to share one program vs. the whole screen, then just resize the program window as needed. - Also productivity - generally it also feels less efficient if you use a lot of different windows/programs at the same time to have to keep shuffling them around and resizing as needed compared to just dropping them onto another screen. Again, this is not the end of the world, but feels a little less efficient than my old dual setup. - The "cycle input" button on the control knob doesn't actually cycle through all inputs, it only cycles to ones that are detected. Meaning if you want to cycle to another input while you're turning that source on, the button won't do anything until that source is on. This seems minor, but I find myself frequently having to reach under the corner and use the input control button on the back of the monitor to force it to change inputs which is annoying. - The stand is crazy huge. This ultimately wasn't a big deal for me because I wanted to mount it to my monitor arm anyway, but if you don't have a very deep desk and don't plan to mount it, you'll immediately notice the base is taking up a huge chunk of your desk. Ultimately if you are already used to an ultrawide so you won't be surprised by the productivity limitations, etc. then you will probably like this monitor. I have no complaints about the quality of the picture or color accuracy. If you're coming from a dual monitor setup, just make sure the benefits outweigh the tradeoffs for you.
