Great battery but you have to make sure you keep it charged because if you let it sit a few weeks to a month it'll die and it'll need to be replaced. So if you're an active shooter there's nothing to worry about but if you seldom get gigs just make sure you pay attention to the time frame between charges.

My battery died less than 6 months after getting it with my light system. I used it pretty regularly and tried to keep it charged appropriately. I was away from my studio for 2 weeks and came in to get prepped for a shoot only to find my battery had completely failed. I was sent a new one as mine was still under warranty but I'm not as confident that it will last long after my experience so far.

The flashpoint rechargeable battery is a good battery. However you must make sure you charge it every so often or basically it's useless. I feel it could be better if they at least incorporated a reset button on the outside in order for it to function if it did go dead. There are YT videos that explain how to "reset" this battery but everyone does not have the time or skill set to do that. I know someone who attempted it and it still failed. This battery would be so much better with that add if nothing else can be done about the battery dying out and being useless after a period of time.

So, I have a few xlpor 600s and like many of the one star reviews here, had my batteries become unchargeable after long storage. This problem , in most cases, is a dumb design flaw in which the bms (battery management system) shuts itself down when the voltage gets too low, and doesnt respond to the charger. Godox, in its infinite wisdom, didn't incorporate a reset button, so you have to open the battery casing and manually reset it. I've rated it 3 stars, because my batteries actually function fine, but requiring a baby screwdriver and a paperclip for normal operation of the product is ridiculous. Check out youtube, there are a few videos that show the reset process, cant put links in reviews.

Flashpoint is a great product. Used in studio and on location with confidence. It has never failed. If my volume continues to grow I will be purchasing a second light with additional batteries. Defiantly a five star product.

Great to have these. Wish there was a built-in AC workaround without having to own an additional piece of equipment but generally no complaints with these batteries and love the price and durable sleekness of this whole system.

I was disappointed with the original battery pack because it quit working less than 2 years after purchase. For some reason, I missed the instruction about the unit must be charged every three months regardless of use. I will take better care of the new battery pack because of the cost of a new one is $180.00

These are great batteries! You have to cycle them, or the cells will die, but as long as you use them or power cycle them they are great!

I am on my third battery which I use with a Flashpoint light. The directions say to charge the battery every three months. I lost track during the pandemic and had to buy a replacement. The replacement never charged. It seems like a small charger for a big battery. Great customer service when I had to return and replace the new battery. Adorama continues to offer products at a good price and the customer service is outstanding. Remember...charge this battery at least once every three months.

These batteries are really easy to charge and use. I took one star off because I didn't know that if you let a battery sit empty too long without charging it, it wont be able to charge back up. But Adorama was awesome about giving me a one time replacement, so big props to them.

My session last 4 to 6 hours and one battery is not enough. I highly recommend getting a second one if you plan on shooting in full sun and have to overpower the sun all the time. A lot of times I am shooting at 1/4 power to 1/2 power just to get the right exposure of the subject in full sun so the battery will drain. I had one battery last me around 4 to 5 hours and when it died, I just inserted my second battery.
