Crafted from optical glass, this filter features a Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) by B+W. Invaluable filter. I use this constantly for landscape photography. I would have liked a 3-stop or more version.  

One improvement would have been if the filter was marked to show level position. 

I marked mine with a tiny white dot of paint to show the level position.
