My favorite manual lens I have tried for the GFX. It?s a little heavy, which isn?t normally something I complain about, but be aware. But build and image quality are fantastic.

This lens is EXACTLY what you want it to be. If you?ve used any of the other speed master lens for different mounts, you know the amazing results you get. Yes, it?s heavy. It should be. It?s a lot of glass and metal. On the GFX system this lens is perfect for shallow DOF portraits in any condition.

I’ve been using the Mitakon 65mm 1.4 GF mount on the Fuji GFX 50R. I primarily bought this lens for portraits. Overall I am really satisfied with the pairing and final images after getting used to the manual focus and thin depth of field. The lens is a little soft away from the center at f/1.4 but I've found stopping it down to f/2 and f/2.8 creates much sharper and acceptable images while maintaining a great background blur. It’s a great native GF mount lens for the price.

The lens is extremely heavy but all in all it does the job.

It was exciting to take a few days to think about the Mitakon company while using this lens. In my opinion, this lens has greatly compensated for the disadvantages of manual focus lenses, made good quality pictures, and showed better edit ( Color tone ) in Lightroom than Fuji lenses. I do not know what lens to show in Mitakon to GFX mount in the near future, but I am looking forward to it. * All of the pictures below were only resized if they were shot at F1.4. *

It's a good lens, but it's a bit tough for a beginner
