I've used Canon my whole life, still do, but this is another level for Landscapes. Tons of resolution in those 102mp images. the dynamic range allows me to not have to bracket as much for scenes also. Definitely the camera in my bag for landscapes. It is slow, but imo you don't buy this for speed.

Long and short of it is, I generally love my 100s. However, I miss the 50s I had with old school dials and a professional grip. This is basically a professional, amazing feat of engineer, in a pro-sumer body. Yes, I've learned to deal with its quirks and have customized things to my liking. However, this isn't the year 2000, all buttons and dials should be mappable to a wider array of features than are currently and there should be more custom buttons in front if this is the design Fuji wants to work towards. Also, who has such small hands for this grip? Why do you want a small grip on a camera with big lenses? I know I'm ranting... that is just because Fuji killed it with the ergonomics of the 50s, now they are killing it with the image quality of the 100s, but instead of adding new cool features and buttons they have gone after the DSLR market and made using the GFX more lame. However, I love my images, so.... I still love you Fuji, most of the time.

GFX100s is almost a perfect medium format camera except its slow flash sync speed at 1/125sec. It would be excellent if Fuji makes leaf shutter lenses for it. HSS is available but that requires more powerful flash.

This camera can do everything a smaller sensor can do but better. The quality of output is amazing for portraits( outdoor or in studio) landscapes, weddings, events, kids, animals, still life ect. and coupled with the GF lenses and ability for sure crop-ability becomes even more amazing. The AF is slighting slower then the run and gun advocates but who cares when what you can achieve in the final product. Highly recommend!

I've been a professional photographer for over five years now and finally made the jump to Fujifilms medium format cameras. The Gfx100s allows you to take crisp and detailed photos while also giving you additional room to really go hard in editing. I was also surprised by how well the images looked under high iso conditions. This camera allows me to shoot it much higher isos than I normally would feel comfortable doing. The auto focus has been spot on for me, no complaints there. If you are on the fence, seriously give this camera a chance and you won't be disappointed. It's now hard for me to go back to any of my other cameras after seeing the clarity and beauty of medium format images.

An amazing camera with one anomaly. Sometimes the box on the focus jumps to the corner of the screen and can't be moved. Have to switch the camera off and on to get it back. This used to happen constantly with my GFX 50 R, much less with this one. But still.

the files are beautiful but the camera is just so slow to use for the kind of portraits i like. once fuji figures out the AF, these will be the best cameras out there. until then, i stick to Leica SL2.

Woweeeee! What a camera/lens combo! Currently, I have the GFX100S set up with my 3 light portable portrait studio using the 32-64 zoom. Am working on a portrait project for display at a local venue. The images are crisp and sparkly! Produces images similar to those produced by film.

I preferred the ergonomics of the 50S, but everything else is excellent. Autofocus is finally reliable. IBIS is outstanding, even with adapted lenses. The 3:4 aspect ratio is much more usable than the 2:3 of 135 systems. Far better experience than a Phase One, and many more lens options.

I have owned an absurd amount of cameras. Most comparable to this recently would be the R5 and a7riv and nothing even comes close to this thing image quality and post latitude wise. If you don?t need crazy fast autofocus (it?s still really good though) and high frame rates, this camera is as good as you will find by a long shit.

Easily the best camera I have ever owned. It?s so good I sold my Sony Alpha a7iv and two lenses. Adorama is excellent to work with. If you have the means I highly recommend this camera.

I haven't had the opportunity to use this in the wild yet, but have used it around the house and family over xmas period. I am comparing against my Fuji X-T4, and for the shots around the house (external), the picture quality is noticeably better, but perhaps not to the extent I was hoping for. I don't think the compositions I had really showed the differences between the GFX100S and X-T4 properly. While the IBIS is important, I've already noticed in low-light that the X-T4 has a marked advantage. Hoping for some opportunities for landscape shots and seeing the true qualities of the GFX100S.

Solid, well built camera, provides high quality images. The viewfinder is wonderful, providing a lot of detail about what mode the camera is in, and the configuration of the top LCD is simply wonderful.

If you're considering this camera, I imagine you already know a thing or two about photography. I purchased this for my son, a fine arts photographer on his way up, and he's been driving it around the block, on the highways, and through the hinterlands and deserted places of the world. The results he has shared with me are tremendous. He gave me a guided tour of its features, and I'm well-impressed. The screen highlights around objects in focus, particularly in low light conditions, is a perfect example of technological innovation as a tool with a practical purpose, and not an underused or unnecessary or gimmicky feature.

I am tremendously impressed with the Fujifilm GFX 100S + 32-64mm F4 zoom lens. I greatly prioritize resolution and sharpness (I dislike most ?soft? images; to me ?soft? is a nice way of saying ?slightly blurry?). For resolution/sharpness - it is SUPERB. I have images of elk and landscapes cropped from 10%-50% of the original image that are wonderfully sharp. I frequently adjust the sharpness at 200% or 300% of actual image size because so much is sharp at 100% that it seems odd to sharpen images at just 100%! You can see individual trees on mountains a few miles away. Frequently. I often zoom in and then see details I never noticed when I took the photo - birds flying, aircraft, etc. It is heavy. The weight is worth it. Fujifilm is dead serious about superb digital imaging. It is worth EVERY PENNY of its cost. If mine was stolen and my homeowner?s insurance wouldn?t replace it, I would pay full price out-of-pocket all over again for one - in a heartbeat.

The unique combination of physical size, resolution, IS, and speed (given the format) makes the GFX 100S a wonderful field camera offering great versatility. The resolution itself offers flexibility in cropping in general and, for instance, the possibility to use a wider lens and simply crop for longer focal lengths. As a user of the GFX 50S as well, perhaps the biggest upgrade is in sensor readout - which results in a dramatically better EVF experience without stuttering and lag- as well as just a very noticeable improvement in overall camera responsiveness. The only thing I really miss from the GFX 50S in use is the removable, articulating EVF finder which I do use all of the time at waist level on and off the tripod. That said, the 100S would not be the compact field camera it is if it offered this feature. So, you need both! Ironically, my first serious digital camera was the Fuji S2 and with this 100S, I feel like I have come full circle.

Best camera I ever used! Coming out of the box, even a novice can take great pictures with the Fujifilm GFX 100S! It has all the bells and whistles a pro would expect for a medium format at a remarkable low price for a camera of its caliber. If speed is your thing this camera may not be an ideal choice. However if you are looking for the ultimate picture quality and plenty of cropping margin this camera is it!

I bought the GFX 100s after it was released and it became one of the best selling cameras of the year. Naturally it was sold out from all of the usual places and being resold at a crazy markup. Moment had the camera to me earlier that estimated and in perfect working condition. I can't speak enough on how great this camera is for photography. It's absolutely one of the gold standards for every genre except action. Just give it a try and dive into the raw & jpgs. You won't regret it.
