Dell products and service

I asked if it came with cables and it doesn't. Ordered cables and was sent the wrong ones. Returned and went to local computer store for the correct cable. Too soon to give a rating for the drive. I just started cloning because of all the delay. I have Dell products for years but I probably won't deal with them again. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing.

The two little drives that could

There?s not really much to say. They are hard drives, and they hold my data sufficiently well. I did really like that they came in a two pack.

Stable So Far

I've only had it for a few days but the drive seems to runs strong. It runs pretty hot and is a little slow. But I may just not be used to mechanical drives anymore. Currently running a 24/7 server.

It's made collaboration a breeze.

This is exactly what we needed for our small landscaping business. We recently purchased a Synology NAS and decided to purchase the Seagate IronWolf 6TB after researching compatible hard drives. Not only do we store Admin files, but all of our marketing and content creation is done in house, so when it comes to having a decent amount files, as well as collaborating, it's made post production and storage a breeze.

Very happy with the drive

It’s a bit quieter than my 5TB WD unit and it’s good to know it’s a NAS drive, especially with the extra reads and writes caused by the new Mac OS. I also have an 8TB Ironwolf that’s been running flawlessly for about a year now.

Very Assuring

These drives seems to be holding up. Very important for securing my photography work, backup documents, and archiving apps. Too many hard drives in the past took a nose dive. I feel more relaxed about it all.

Seagate Red Drives at Good Price

I have been a long time consumer of Seagate hard drives. I still have functioning but not useful Seagate hard drives from over 15 years ago. So, purchasing 2 Seagate Red hard Drives for a 2nd NAS Raid was a no brainer. Particularly when Seagate Red Drives offered at a good price by Adorama.

Very stable drives. Quiet in the DS220+ NAS. Responsive when streaming. Best of all, $20 cheaper than Amazon or Newegg.

Great quality and reasonable price.

I chose the 4TB Ironwolf drives because the it was only a little more than the 2TB/3TB drives and much cheaper than the 8TB/16TB drives. My transfers hit about 60-70Mbps instead of 100Mbps but that is probably because of the bottleneck from my home network. I'm a little bias because I have never had a Seagate drive fail on me so I rate it 5 stars until is does in over 20 years of using Seagate. The bonus is that Adorama is selling a 2 pack of these drives for $200 vs $220 (buying individually) on other sites.

Good value for the $

Only a month in. Works great so far. Have both setup in a home 2 drive NAS, I've only written in one large upload so I cant speak to how fast or slow it was. Its was an overnight operation. Obviously its slower on the RPMs so take that for what it is. For the price and just pure RAID storage, its suited my needs.

Giving Seagate Another Shot

By James D.

So far so good. I swore off Seagate a while ago after having recurring issues. I used to consider them the best 20 years ago. Figured I’d give them another shot after reading many good reviews. As far as Adorama, great service. Shipped on time, no issues whatsoever throughout the whole ordering process.

Seagate IronWolf always reliable

By Dave W.

I tend to purchase Seagate drives when possible. In this case it was to replace a 2TB drive in my FreeNAS home-built server. I am slowly replacing the desktop hard drives with true NAS designed drives, spread out over several months to make it more affordable. With the addition of this drive, I now have only one left to replace. I've used a lot of drives over the years, and Seagate tends to be one of my favorites due to that experience. I also like to shop from Adorama, as I receive great ser...
