Powering a pair of Focal Chora 806. The best, most straightforward amplifier for the price. It being a solid state, it sounds extremely clean. The clean signature makes this extremely versatile across all genres. Classical, indie, rock, rap, this can do it all. At any volume, this performs. I keep it at -77.5 when I'm sleeping, and it sounds amazing. I use it at -50 when I'm listening in the day, still amazing. Crank the volume and it still performs well. It's beautifully built, and extremely well featured. One of the only products I'd give a five star review to without any hesitation.

After excitedly installing an all Yamaha system for 13 zones and a theater (3x quad streamers, aventage AVR, and a wxa-50), it seems this amp won't support AirPlay 2. Nevermind that Yamaha's MusicCast doesn't support Apple Music, this darn amp won't do AirPlay 2. The client has to link zones first in MusicCast, then send audio to the linked zone... instead of just tapping which zone he wants to send audio to in his Music app. This is stupid and expensive. Replaced with another single zone amp. I won't get burned again with these things, Yamaha, you suck.

I run four of these. Oldest is at least 5-6 years old. I use two to run sets of outdoor speakers, one for the kitchen and another for the dining room. They can easily be linked through the MusicCast app to play the same streaming music on all or through ApplePlay. Love them!

Very good, reliable. The only draw-back which I noticed in daily-basis usage is lack of possibility to voice control (even over google-home and spotify integration).

The second one was harder to set up but fortunately the helpline led me through it. There were some wi-fi wrinkles missing from the instructions. Once it was up and running, I have found it easy to use. I'd willingly get a third if I had a use for it, unless I could find something similar at a more reasonable price.

I have 1 of these and 2 of the WXC Streamers and a Aventage 2050. Excellent pieces with fantastic sound. I find the Musicast app super simple to use over the top competitors. Never experienced an issue with these and having a Sub out is a huge advantage. I'm running 2 ceiling speakers and a sub in my office on this amp and if you bring the volume up to the top it says clear all day! Once you pick this amp up you will notice the build quality is fantastic.

I own an A/V integration company and have been selling Sonos for decades. Sonos has changed a lot of their policies and now I wanted to switch to MusicCast to sell to my clients. MusicCast does a lot right but really lacks in the area that seems like it would be easy to fix, the music streaming services. It integrates with Pandora but does not allow you to play your playlists and it only integrates with one account. Does not integrate with Tune-In and other internet radio streaming services. Also, need to add a few business music options to open it up for commercial use like Mood Media or Soundtrack just to name a couple. If they can get serious about some of these issues thay can really have a Sonos killer here.

Pros: Easy to use app. Interfaces with Yamaha home theater amps. Sounds great. Perfect size. Stays on line, unlike the Sonos I replaced. Cons: No Amazon Music. The Spotify interface is cumbersome...why can't it control Spotify from the MusicCast app? Product cannot be updated to use Amazon, per Yamaha.

I purchased WXA-50 and WXC-50 to go along with TSR-7810. In particular, the WXA-50 is an impressive small form amp packed with a lot of features. It's hooked up to Polk bookshelf speakers and to my ears sound great. MusicCast setup was straightforward...taking maybe 5 minutes for each streaming device. The MusicCast app is solid....would be appreciated if they'd add Apple Music as a native streaming option (not just Airplay / Bluetooth). I subscribe to multiple services (Pandora, SiriusXM & Apple Music) and desire the same functionality for all. All in all - if you already own a Yamaha receiver with musicCast built in...there's no reason not to add devices to create an affordable, flexible and solid performing whole home audio solution.

Purchased this to power to two Klipsch WA-650 outdoor speakers. All I had to do was hook speakers to the WXA-50 and connect to Apple Airport express and the speakers were playing!! I was a little worried the amp might struggle with such big speakers but wow was I wrong! My wife and I were both surprised how loud and clear the speakers are and will now be purchasing another WXA for other rooms in out house. Thanks for making a great product!

I was searching for a solution that fits with the current way I listen to music, rather than a sole source setup. I stream music, I house all my music on my computer, and I access most of my music on my phone--so I'm probably a typical consumer these days. I needed something that would let me do all of that without switching back/forth between sources. The WXA-50 is exactly the right product for me. Although I am not a serious audiophile, sound quality is essential to me. I chose my speakers and amp primarily based on sound quality, not looks or cost. I paired this amp with two high quality bookshelf speakers for an extremely simple arrangement that gives me the outstanding sound I was seeking. It took me less than 10 minutes to plug in speakers cables, pair the app on my phone, and start listening to music. Highly recommended.
