The moment anamorphic lens for Mavic 2 is really too heavy to work well with the Mavic 2. They will try to tell you it works but chances are you break your drone before you get it to work.

There is vignetting if you use it in the 1x lens. When you pan your photo it actually gets worse. You are forced to use it on the 3x or crop your image

I wanted to be unencumbered during a vacation, so I left my DSLR at home and exclusively used my iPhone 12 mini. The vacation was "aboard" Disney's Star Wars Galactic Cruiser, so I purchased the 1.33x anamorphic lens for a more cinematic feel. From my amateur viewpoint, the lens delivered the desired effect and I am pleased with the results. We were constantly engaged in active "missions" and engulfed by crowds, so this was mostly a point-and-shoot affair when there was a split-second break between the sweaty masses. Attached are a few shots. Having the wider angle was great when taking pictures that included people; compositionally, it was much easier to capture our 5-person party without any obstruction of the subject in the background. My one major criticism was the looseness of connection between the lens and phone adapter. While the lens would "click" into place the first couple of times, it would soon (less than 10 detach-/reattachments) just loosely stay in place. The lens would start to rotate out of locked position with a slight brush against clothing or a gentle bump with a finger. I'm sure the squared edges of the lens extending beyond the edge of my 12 mini didn't help. I tried new adapters, but experienced the same thing. Since the lens always locked into place in an unused adapter, but then quickly degraded, I suspect the issue is with the adapter design/construction and not the lens. This lack of secureness alters the situations in which I'll use the lens; I won't use it when a firm bump could send it tumbling into water or over a cliff. That being said, the lens is high-quality and works seamlessly with the Moment app. Attached are a few images taken aboard the ship and during a "shore excursion" to the planet Batuu. In the first shot, note the feint signature blue flare on the left between the round door and archway to the left.

I bought an Ursa mini pro a while back and after using this lens on my iPhone 11, I used the flat log on the moment camera app to test some footage and the similarities I got with the aspect ratio and picture look has the same touch as the Ursa. It's really like a cinema camera on the go and in your pocket and I am definitely looking to get the most out of this lens when I travel to different countries.

Capture roughly the same breadth as my iPhone 12 wide lens but the give the nice cinematic feel. Certainly a lens that can add a different perspective to my video and photo shoot.

Vignettes significantly with iPhone 14 pro, very disappointing there's no mention of this by Moment and they continue to sell and promote it as "compatible". IPhone 14 users should avoid.

I'd love to love this lens, but it's hard to find software. Moment's app is for iPhone, so I'm on my own for my Pixel. Right now I'm trying Image Size, which may let me take and correct images on the fly but is ad infested. Plus I've had to do silly ratio math to figure out the correction (have to enter desired pixels by pixels). Searching for "resize" doesn't help - that's just cropping apps. It's a shame that Android users can't shoot out of the box and enjoy the lens. I'll let you know when I can finally enjoy it.

I'm a long time photographer trying to get into filmmaking. I've been having a lot of fun with my iPhone 13 Pro Max and wanted to try to get every last bit of quality out of it that I can. This lens go a long way in helping to achieve the cinematic look. It's very solid and looks exactly as advertised. Comes with a nice pouch and a lens cap. The only reason I've subtracted one star is because the rear of the lens is unprotected, you have to buy the rear lens cap separately, and I feel that it should be included. Definitely 5 stars with the rear lens cap.

I've been shooting more work for products at my husbands retail shop and adding the little artistic touch of lens flair is a nice touch. Also a great lens for adding artistic effects to videos for our instagram videos.

Let's Anamorphic lens is like a panoramic lens it keeps the height but you are getting a much wider shot. well, a lot of people will say that this tool can be replaced with a 0.5x Camera or whatever but... the stills captured on this lens are amazing, the flare sometimes is much more than you expect so maybe sometimes if you take video you will take some shots again and again :) but long story short Outcome was Worth it. Additionally, you will always and everywhere get questions like are you a filmmaker, what this lens does? and you will look like a PRO.

Worked pretty well on old iPhone 8+, doesn't work well on 14 Pro main camera. If you move the phone at all vignetting occurs on the opposite side of the direction of movement. This must be due to image stabilization and the wider angle of the camera. Seems to work OK on the 77mm camera, though. Images/videos are very soft around the edges, more than I'd like to see.
