I've had L-brackets on all of my bodies and the Kirk ones are what I turn to. Solid and rugged yet lightweight and functional. They still provide access to accessory ports and the battery tray, and the flip out display still works at almost all angles. I have not had a situation yet where I could not position it properly. The built-in Arca-Swiss mount is solid and so quick to engage. You no longer have to deal with finding the proper plate to mount your body.

This is by far the best L bracket I've ever used. It keeps my Z7ii very well protected and it's not bulky at all. I have access to all of my ports and battery door. Doesn't add too much weight to the camera. The only thing was I had to take the two screws out of the Peak Design tripod so that it can fit. Other than that it's perfect.

This L-Bracket works great. It fits perfect without any restrictions; i.e. works great with the FTZ Adaptor. I wish they made one for the Nikon Z50 that can be used with the FTZ Adaptor.

It fits my Fujifilm X-T2 perfectly. Pairs wonderfully with my Arca Swiss ball head, enabling me to quickly transition from landscape to portrait photography when using a tripod.

This works as promoted. It comes with its own self-contained hex wrench. I can plug in a cable to my camera body with this bracket attached.

The bracket works great on my Fuji XT2 as expected, but even better it saved my camera! While I was at an expensive photography workshop in Yosemite, I dropped my camera from five feet onto a hard concrete sidewalk (my fault, not the bracket's). By some miracle it landed right on the corner of the bracket and absorbed the shock. Camera and lens were fine - no damage at all (fortunately I had a very small lens on at the time).

This L bracket fits the xt3 power grip perfect no rubbing looks very professional makes it easy to position on tripod love it also has protected camera from a drop I highly recommend it nothing like it out there

I purchased one for my Nikon D5, and it fit like a glove, and is a nice solid metal structure. Fits my Arca Swiss clamp great and hold it nice and solid, I would recommend this to any one that wants a reliable L-bracket.

There's a lot of discussion (and frustration) over current L-bracket options for the GFX. I chose this L-bracket as it got the best reviews and allows access to battery ports. To do so, all one needs to do is loosen the screw and slide the bracket over until the battery port can be accessed. Move back, tighten, done.

With my recent purchase of the 6d2, I needed an L bracket. I first looked at the Really Right Stuff L bracket, but did not like the fact that it prevented the articulating screen that 6d2 offers. Upon digging, I found that this Kirk L bracket would allow for use of the screen. The build and design are both very good. It is a solid plate and fits the camera perfectly as expected. The only catch to it is that on the Really Right Stuff Quick Release Clamp, it is a little more snug that the RRS brackets I have used on my other cameras. But I would prefer it be a little snug than a little loose. The swinging side plate works great for use with the screen, though it does block use of the remote in the front if the bracket is opened for turning the screen, but this is unavoidable. All in all, 4 stars and I would recommend this to others looking for an Arca Swiss L bracket for the 6d2 while being able to use the articulating screen.

The Kirk L bracket and RRS brackets are pretty much industry standards for tripod mounts. My D5 is built tough but this helps add a bit of extra protection. Adds a bit of extra weight but I can shoot an entire wedding with it on, no problem. It's expensive but as long as you stay with the pro bodies you don't need a new one when you upgrade.

Finally a bracket that works with the battery grip, and works well! Love this thing! Absolutely perfect. Some of the other L-brackets I've checked out can't handle the weight of the camera, let alone a camera with that added grip and battery weight. This one holds like a rock. You won't have any regrets getting this piece of gear.

This is a perfectly machined and durable L Bracket, out of a single piece of aluminum for any ball head tripod mount. This is a solid piece of metal that doesn't hinder the hand-holding character of the camera body. A must if your switching between Portrait, or Landscape frequently.

The bracket appears to be very good quality at a price a little less than the competition. It fits my RRS quick clamp nicely, which is a necessity for me. I've purchased a couple of Kirk items in the past and have been impressed with the fit and finish, and this one is no exception. You won't go wrong here if looking for a good L bracket.

This is a quality product made from one solid piece of metal. There is no chance of movement or vibration when the bracket is installed on the Nikon D800 and attached to a sturdy tripod. Perfect even when long zoom lenses are mounted to the camera.
