Good lenses. Really cinematic but the screws holding the lens together got loose on my 17 mm lens in a shoot and had to hunt for a screwdriver. Wasted a day. Great lenses but please attention to the little screws.

How the Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 50mm T1.0 Cine Lens for Micro Four Thirds Elevates Your Cinematic Experience
The Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 50mm T1.0 Cine Lens for Micro Four Thirds is engineered to transform your visual storytelling with its exceptional features. Its ultra-fast T1.0 aperture, combined with a close minimum focusing distance, allows for the creation of buttery smooth and refined bokeh. This is further enhanced by a 9-blade circular aperture mechanism, which ensures a pleasing round bokeh when the lens is used wide open, effectively isolating your subject from the background for a distinctive cinematic look that surpasses conventional lenses.
Minimizing focus breathing is a hallmark of the Zhongyi T/1.0 series, enabling seamless focus pulls without altering composition. The ultra-fast T1.0 aperture is particularly advantageous for shooting in low-light conditions, ensuring your footage remains sharp and vibrant even in challenging lighting.
The lens boasts extraordinary mechanical construction, featuring a unified front diameter and gear position that simplifies the use of focus motors and matte boxes, reducing the need for frequent adjustments. Its internal focus design maintains a consistent physical size throughout the focus range, while the seamless lens gear and extended focus throw, complete with precise scale markings, provide accurate control over the focus point. This precision is crucial when working with the extremely shallow depth of field offered at T1.0.
In terms of optical performance, the Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 50mm T1.0 excels with superior color contrast and sharpness, outperforming other lenses in its class. It delivers a cinematic aesthetic with natural colors and a subtle vintage vibe, ensuring color consistency across different focal lengths. This lens is an ideal choice for filmmakers seeking to achieve a professional and artistic look in their projects.
